This area that the hotel was in was safe and quiet. With large trees all around it was so beautiful and tranquil to be there. I would stay here again. The outside porch was wonderful.

Awesome location, hot tub in the room. Towels had a foul smell. Coffee maker was dirty in the room. Breakfast was the best part. The lady with the green hair preparing the breakfast was really nice and helpful.

This is an older property. Looks like they are doing ongoing renovations? Maybe? Some things are old, chairs, carpet, tub. But the important things are fantastic. The bed was one of the best I’ve experienced lately. The rooms are HUGE!! The outdoor area was very nice. Having a back door (don’t forget your key!) to go out and enjoy the courtyard was awesome. Parking right outside your front door is amazing. The breakfast was huge with a variety of different selections each day. It was quiet and restful. Very close to everything but still feels secluded. Will absolutely stay here again.

Think brown striped rug and brown patterned sofa. The room hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long long time, so there were dusty dirty cupboards, corners and baseboards. On the other hand, the bed was comfortable and clean. The room had a certain funky woodsy charm. The breakfast room was cheery, the food was adequate, and the entire staff was pleasant and helpful.

Staff was friendly and ready for me upon my arrival. I booked a King room (#138) with a gas burning fire place…..loved the heat from it along with the atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water with good pressure. Good size TV with many clear channels. This room was right next to the ice machine The breakfast was just a little outside walk from the room and the food was good and hot. When visiting Payson, AZ I shall indeed stay here again.

Cute but Cleanliness Needs Improvement
Stopped here and decided for the upgraded King room so we could enjoy the large tub in our room. Check in was very smooth and easy. Upon entering we were concerned about the cleanliness with the room. There were handprints of makeup on our bathroom door and old matter of some kind on the couch. When we went to shower before getting into the tub the shampoo was complete liquid and just poured out of the container. The shampoo/conditioner were also differing brands and no body wash was offered. For the price- I do think these things matter. We did enjoy the tub but after getting out we were both extremely itchy. We were happy to find a place last minute and don’t mind that things were outdated but the cleanliness needs to increase for a return trip.
