We arrived at 11 pm. The doors were locked, and there wass a number to call for after hours check in/assistance. I was informed that our reservation was checked in ahead of our arrival. The representative on the phone had told me to check under the front floor mat for my key card and parking pass!!! Fortunately, it was still there and the crackhead up the street that was swearing at the top of his lungs about the ice cream store being closed did not take it first.
The hotel itself is pretty awesome! It is super old and very cool. Even the elevator is pretty cool.
The room and decor were definitely very dated, mainly to fit the old timey feel. However, our reservation was for 2 adults and 2 children. We booked a king bedroom suite. The photos on expedia showed a couch, which appeared to be a couch bed. Our room had only 1 king bed and a table. We contacted the night attendant (had to call more than once) and requested some roll away beds. Thankfully, they had 2.
When we went to turn the tv on, it was not working, so we just wrote it off until the morning.
On our way out the next morning, we informed the lady at the front desk. She seemed very annoyed that i was asking about getting the tv looked at by maintanance. She said it would get taken care of...Unfortunately, they never got it working for us and it appeared that they never even attempted. We were in town for a funeral and really didnt make it a priority to have the tv fixed, so we left it at that.
