Our rating is based, heavily, on cost vs condition/comfort. At $160 for two queen beds, it costs more than hotels in the area. Peeling paint/plaster in the bathroom. Several common areas need cosmetic TLC. The overall rating of only 7/10 is well deserved.

This hotel has been our preferred since 2022. It is clean, quiet and convenient. The front desk was friendly and their breakfast was usually good. However, it is not the case this time. Perhaps it is due to lower season that there are not many travelers around. Hope they can maintain the same quality services as they used to.

great place to stay and within walking distance to all shopping stores. The breakfast was a bit skimpish, no waffles or pancakes machine, no fresh fruit, only 1 kind of jelly for the toast and nothing to cut the bagels with.

In the photos, you will see what appears to be black mold, which is a health risk. There was also damage inside the room due to moisture with cracking and bubbling of wallpaper. Two of the hostess were friendly, and there was one who seen put out because my card needed to becharged for my room to enter it. I don’t normally do reviews, however having been on the road staying in hotels for the last three years this was surprising.
Black mold is visible underneath the wallpaper that is peeled back from moisture.

Very convenient location for a night stop during a road trip. Close to shopping, restaurants and pharmacy. The carpet and parts of the bedding was stained. Linens and the bathroom were clean. It was quite except for the very loud sound whenever someone used the elevator.

Outdated, but close to SUNY Plattsburgh
Room/bathroom are outdated, bathroom bathtub drain didnt work, the bathroom door clearly had some sort of water damage. The jacuzzi tub in the room is awkwardly placed, high steps to jacuzzi are dangerous, plus the room is wall to wall carpeting. Mold could possibly be an issue. Bed was decent n comfortable. Pool/hot tub floor surfaces need fixing bc its chipping/peeling which could cause someone to slip.

The shampoo was completely empty in my room so that honestly put a damper ony stay. And the gentleman that checked us in was really not friendly. Not rude. But not pleasant.
