No magnetic key card entry at any entrance
The plattsburgh ny location the office is out by the busy highway and the motel it sits back far away from the road. To enter the building you do not need a magnetic key card so anyone can enter the building day or night. Which is scary. If you are a woman traveling this place aint for you. There is no staff in that building at all day or night. Only to serve breakfast and do housekeeping. The place needs some kind of security. Cameras isnt enough. They really need to put the magnetic key cards on all the doors entering the building. The room was clean. The housekeepers were nice. The breakfast was great. But a huge lack of security. We didnt feel safe at all..

This time the front desk worker was extremely rude to me I understand people have bad days but I really had to bring him back to reality and remind him I’m a paying customer this stay isn’t free or he wasn’t doing me a favor and that I was going to notify corporate of his nasty actions towards me ! He this got himself together just wasn’t usually his behavior I stay here twice a month was very odd of him .

Simple and nothing missing
Clean, comfortable. Breakfast was decent, pool is beautiful. Only complaint is outside lighting lacking, but a very minor concern. Everything else great, will definitely stay again!

The beds and pillows were comfortable, the bathrooms need a bit of an upgrade as everything is looking quite worn and tired. The reception desk and the rooms are in separate sections and there is no security on the doors leading into the section with the rooms. Would have preferred to have to swipe my card to get into the building as anybody could walk in.

I enjoyed my first week at the Quality Inn. I like the breakfast, it is close to shopping and great restaurants. I will be working in Plattsburgh off and on and will make the QI my place to stay when in town.

First impression: there was a disagreeable odor to the hallway. Kind of like cleaning chemicals and mold smell. Then after carrying in our belongings we found that the door to our room did not lock. We were told by the front desk staff that there were no other rooms to move to and he instructed us on pulling up the door to get it to align. It finally did and we were able to lock the door behind us, but we certainly felt less than secure. The furniture in the room was cheaply made. On a positive note the price was very good.
