I would come back there with more friends
Very lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Super clean but noisy. One thing that bothered me was we had to leave the property every time the room service wanted to clean and they’re not always on time. But overall it’s convenient. Very close to 5th avenue. 3-4 min walk to the beach. And 15 minutes walk if you wanna take a ferry to Cozumel. The shuttle service is really good and cheaper than everywhere else.

This property delivers, the pictures you see online is the real thing. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, the rooftop terrace pool is very nice. The basement parking is convenient but is very very tight spaces to enter and park. However, if you are not a nervous driver you can park fine. The message spa was so so. Both my wife and I didn’t feel the message was truly relaxing. We opted for a Swedish message but it felt More like a rub than a massage. There is a night club around the corner of the hotel that’s very loud. We slept fine but if you are a light sleeper I don’t recommend it. The restaurant in the same building Yum Yum, very good

Everyone was so nice. The hotel was clean and in a nice area close to everything. We did receive our complementary wine but didn't use the drink credit because the bar was closed on Sunday. Overall, our experience was awesome and we would recommend this hotel!

A must stay hotel
My partner and I stayed at Antera Hotel for 5 days. Our experience was wonderful. It was beautiful, clean and was located less than 2 mins walk from the beach. We also got the package with breakfast included and the breakfast was served by "Yum Yum" and it had good selection of food to pick from and very tasty! We also rented a car and the parking was available for free and extremely convenient! 10/10 experience with the hotel room itself with amazing staff especially front desk - Ivan! Would definitely book to stay here again when we are in Playa Del Carmen!

Two nights of really loud noise from nightclubs until 3am, meant two nights of no sleep.. The hotel and staff were good but the noise was unbearable. Thankfully we only stayed 2 nights..

Very difficult to sleep as there is a nightclub below with loud music playing until 3am. Staff weren’t very helpful or friendly when I asked if there was any other rooms we could move to. Apparently all of the rooms are noisy. The kitchen in our apartment was dated and not well stocked - no cooking oil, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher tablets, salt or pepper which was inconvenient! It was centrally located but I’d stay away from this street next time to avoid the noise. We did like the pool and bar, Pavel was a very nice bartender :)

My experience was a 10 out of 10. I stayed in the residence section of the property with the upstairs deck and hot tub that I used as a soaking pool to cool off. The apartment was a large two bedroom fully equipped with a dishwasher, full sized washer and dryer and a brand new full sized refrigerator. There is a large balcony off of the master bedroom and living room with ocean views. It's on 10th Ave and less than 100 yards from the 5th avenue shopping and entertainment section. The beach is only another 100 yards from 5th avenue. It's a tourist destination so there is a lively late night party component but the party noises are minimal with the good quality windows and sliding glass doors. If you're a light sleeper it could bother you. It was not a problem for me. I live in Cozumel and travel to playa del Carmen often so this will be my new place for overnight lodging.
