For our first time in Playa del Carmen, we couldn't have asked for a better hotel. On one side, you have the beach access within a 2min walk and, on the other side, 5th ave is less than 2mins walk. The rooftop terrace has beautiful views and a proper vibe since you have people from outside the hotel that come to party. The dining options were top notch! We found ourselves dining at the restaurants of the hotel more than on the strip because of how good it was. I highly recommend getting the all-inclusive meals drinks, well worth your buck. Overall, great experience.

Unfriendly staff. Unhelpful, not all floors have ice machines, key cards didn’t work on 3 occasions and needed to be preprogrammed, front desk unwilling to exchange dollars for pecos, bartender unable to take card or pecos fortunately I dollar amounts small enough. Wi-Fi into not available in room has to go back to front desk. No conditioner in bathroom. Hotel was clean and large but that’s about it. Not worth the money or hassle. You are better off at the cheapest hotel that way expectations are easier to meet.

Don’t stay here if you’re single and like to mingle. The first night I brought some company back to my room and was stopped in the lobby and was told I have to pay 100 usd even though she wasn’t gonna stay. I found another hotel down the street but this really ruined my trip. First trip in ten years and first time to Mexico. I lost a lot of money changing hotels being all inclusive and they new hotel was not. They could have said maybe this place isn’t for you. And offered refund. But they didn’t. They refund small portion but it was very unfair. Don’t stay here if your solo period!

Great adult only properties. Really enjoyed the rooftop. Waiters were friendly and did a great job at bringing us drinks in the pool. Restaurants were great. We got access to the other coco resort for different food options and access to the private beach. Great experience overall.

Average property. Watch out for fake taxi drivers near hotel. What appeared to be a legit taxi driver over charged my credit card for a one way taxi drive to Cancun airport. Book taxi online and pay upfront. Hyatt hotel next door is way nicer hotel.

We opted for the all inclusive package as for just a few dollars more we didnt need to pay for drinks and snacks we tried the restaurant and even went to eat locally.Great deal!! Really liked the vibe, definitely the roof top is for the party animal in you,but if your for the quiet life the restaurants at the hotel are a good bet! We went to the sister resort in the day to use the beach which is quiter than the local beach at Reef 28. Great location ,walkable with many other dining and shopping options right on 5th Avenue.

The hotel is BEAUTIFUL! I loved the whole aesthetic especially in the main breakfast dining area and Asian restaurant. The rooftop pool was beautiful as well. I loved the DJ, food, and entire vibe up there that went on all day even in the rain. The rooms were clean, spacious, and lovely to look at. I especially enjoyed the shower and balcony. Oh and the welcome snacks & champagne were a special touch as well! The staff was so warm, helpful, and accommodating we couldn’t have asked for more. The hotel is in walking distance from the beach and lots of dining and shopping options. We enjoyed our meals and drinks and they made it very clear what was included with the all inclusive! The Asian restaurant was our favorite. Would ABSOLUTELY love to stay here again! The spa is gorgeous, hopefully we can try it out next time.
