The Hotel's location is pretty perfect as next to Ribeira Square with lots of dining options, etc. Unfortunately, the location means it's next to the main road and we were unlucky to get the room 209 facing the front (main road). The noise level from the road is unbelievably loud and I didn't sleep much for the first 2 nights. Most of the hotel reception staff were quite unfriendly and not helpful at all. Among many ridiculous things when complaining about the room (noise) is that we didn't request a quiet room. Well, it's fair to say that I would definitely never intentionally pay for a noisy room like that!!!

This hotel was a great location to see Porto. Parking is not convenient. You can’t even pull up front to drop off luggage without the taxi drivers getting upset with you. Breakfast was good, a nice variety to choose from.

A great location! The staff is just wonderful. After a really early departure from Amsterdam, we arrived at the hotel way earlier than the normal check-in time. I asked if there was any chance to get our room earlier and after a telephone call, we were told that we'd have the room in 20 minutes! Everyone was so kind and helpful. We only had breakfast there on one of the three days and it was fine and varied. Lovely hotel and staff, great location. We'd recommend.

Excellent hotel and the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and location is great. It was within a block from the river. I will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel in a great location. Walkable to many restaurants and right by the river. Staff at hotel very kind and helpful. Breakfast did not have a huge spread but what was available was delicious. Would stay again!
