Our family stayed at the Renaissance Portsmouth-Norfolk this past weekend. The hotel was clean, and the rooms were very comfortable. The Staff were very helpful and respectful, especially in the restaurant area and the bellhop. I will definitely stay at the Renaissance if I visit the area again! Keep up the good work!

The air conditioning was broken in my first room, so I had to move to another room. The bartender said the restaurant is only open a couple days a week due to staffing issues, so I was forced to eat a very limited menu at the bar. Worst of all, the hotel manager denied my cancellation request for my last night due to the winter storm and state of emergency. I was forced to pay for the last night even though I was already back home. If I would have stayed, I would have been snowed in for an extra 2-3 days. I’ll stay across the water in Norfolk for all my upcoming business trips.
