Good value in a grear part of the city.
I knew about the hotel as it was just across the street from my old apartment. It is old with a lot of charm. The lady at the fronr who checked me in and out was very pleasant and speaks English quite well. Ir is not a luxurious hotel but quite nice and in a great part of the city.

Good hotel, could do with a refurbishment
The staff at the hotel were lovely and the location is also very good near a shopping centre, major metro station etc. My WiFi was also fine. However be aware that although this is a four star hotel, I think it’s in need of a renovation. The decor in the rooms is dated, no pictures etc. My tap in the bathroom wobbled about to the point I was worried it would come off which all shows if they did it up it would be a lot better hotel. Also be aware that although they have a restaurant in the hotel, when I asked for food I was told this was only for groups of people so I had to leave the hotel to find somewhere to eat when I picked a hotel that had a restaurant so that I could have my meals in the hotel.

Praga Hotel Review
Hotel is based in a nice area ( New Town ) close to Angel a main station connected by Bus/Tram and underground rail station. Took a bus # 191 from airport which is about 40 mins. Hotel has old arichtecture big room with high ceiling, Rugs are old , Bathroom is decent size , had a cracked shower floor. Room facing the main road has continous vehicular traffic of cars/ Tram / Trucks. Breakfast was decent and well presented. Ideal for 2-3 days stay has lots of choices of restaurants / Bars / fast food ( KFC/Starbucks ) Also Hop on Hop off tours stop is near by walking distance and had Taj Mahal indian restaurant right across Staropramen Brewery. ensure you excange czK ( Kroner ) only after you have checked rate with atleast couple of banks or money excahge. Prague is a nice & worthy place to visit and is relatively cheaper then other EU destinations.

The hotel was not in the best location but it was easy enough to get an Uber everywhere. The price was great and it included breakfast. The staff was friendly and the room was nice and comfortable

Vacationing in Prague
The hotel staff were polite and courteous. As an older hotel, there was no airconditioning and this made for a very uncomfortable and warm room on a few of the nights. Add that to the ongoing construction nearby and you can sense how tough it is to get uninterrupted sleep as you had to keep your windows open to get air into the room. The city tram also ran in front of the hotel. Great for transportation options but inconvenient if you have to sleep with your window open. As it is an older hotel, the room also seemed to have an odor to it. All in, breakfast and the hotel staff were great. But the issues I listed above are worth considering for any visitor who plans to stay here. I was glad my stay only lasted 3 nights.

Slightly faded grandure but great experience
The immediate surrounding area is a little unimpressive with a busy road and faded buildings. Less than 500m away there is a modern shopping and restaurant area. Good food and shopping. Located between airport and city Centre ( £20 by taxi from airport) The rooms are pretty cool. Loads of character , high ceilings and spacious. Some fabrics are a little worn. The dining room is a visual feast but no evening service just a fair continental type breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Rather than stay at a boring chain hotel I'd recommend a few nights here for the experience. The larger suits are really spacious.

Charming, old-style hotel
The hotel has an old-world feel, but rooms and baths are modern. While the hotel is a bit far from the city center, the tram runs directly there. We used it as an affordable one-night stay before heading to the airport.

Thank God it was only 1 night
Room just clean enough. Hot with no AC Instead one queen size I got 2 singles who knows why. Stuff just about to speak English. Bathroom smells like public swimming pool. Got headache. Hand wash equal body/hair wash despite 2 different bottles massively mix with water. Bedding not really comfy and too small TV first gen LCD (terrible) hang on wall too high to watch from bed. No off street parking. Communal lighting at night set on PIR go on and off every 10s.

The hotel is super clean, the staff is friendly, excellent breakfast. The check out at 10AM was the only inconvenient issue. I arrived at the hotel around 9PM after a long travel journey and had to leave the hotel before 10AM.

Excellent value
This was very good value for money. The walk with bags from the team stop was little long but not unreasonable. It was a quiet area. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and we ate in the restaurant one night and that was also very good. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean. I would stay there again.

The hotel does not deserve stars
We were very disapointed by the low standing of the hotel. Staff at reception is nice but the management is a disaster. - breakfast: dry bred and croissants. They serve you food from the day before that was not eaten. The food was also missing and not replaced as it should be. -room: it was very old and very noisy until hearing everything from the other rooms..... Also there is a boiler in the room but no cup, no spoon, neither Coffe nor tea that you have to buy in the shop across the street. It's a shame for a "4 stars" hotel. -comodity: the hotel is far away (around 30 min walking) from the points on interest so you have to take the metro or the bus. When you point out something is not working they answer that they are refurbishing the building this is why prices are so low !!! I am very sorry but this is not a valid excuse to justify the lack of attention in the room that are not under refurbishment. The service is not managed by workers but by the staff of the hotel.

Godt hotel sammenlignet med tilsvarende. Beliggenhed er ikke dårligt ift shoppings muligheder og heller ikke så langt fra byenscenter og gode transport muligheder i nærheden. Rent og pænt både i værelset, badet og restauranten hvor morgenmaden også er god. Personalet er flinke og servicemindede og kan svare på det vigtigste en besøgende spørger om.
