The room was very clean and fine for an overnight stop during a roadtrip. Our only concern was when we called the motel office at 10 pm to complain about a group of noisy guests no one was available to take our call or deal with the issue.

The Ace Motel is my new favourite place to stop on my way from Victoria to Nelson. Thanks for having this clean & comfy spot to stop midway! The staff have all been a delight to interact with, too.

We stayed at the Ace Motel on our way to the Tsawwassen Ferry. It was perfect for our trip. The room was spotless! Check in was easy & quick. Restaurants were within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place for an overnight.

Nice Room - Minimal Kitchenette
The room was nice and well maintained. The kitchenette was minimal, missing glasses or mugs and only one fork amongst the cutlery. No toaster. We made do, purchasing mugs and some other things. With that, we cooked our breakfasts and dinners! We enjoyed our stay!

Clean, inexpensive and well situated. My one concern is that I believe the motel should do more around the town’s boil water advisory. I would have appreciated ice made from potable water, and, since the town water is not drinkable, I think the motel should provide bottled water for guests. At least one bottle per room with more available for purchase.

Fantastic place, better than expected
Fantastic place, better than expected for a motel at this price range. Very clean room, friendly staff, there was even a microwave in the room and 3 pillows on each bed with different softness levels - this is next level. One advise to management - the area is under boil water advisory that we didn't know about. It would have been nice to notify the guests about it prior to arriving or even provide kettles in the rooms, it was a real hassle shlepping water bottles from the nearby gas station, especially after 9pm
