Complete with all new furniture and bedding, this beautifully remodeled Princeville condo provides privacy and plenty of space to accommodate eight guests. Mauna Kai 2 features tranquil and comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces; amenities such as its own washer/dryer and of course complimentary wireless internet service; and even a glimpse of the ocean beyond the lovely garden views. Its convenient location close to the Princeville Center means easy access to restaurants, shopping, a grocery store, a gas station, and other necessities.

The inviting bedrooms at Mauna Kai 2 include a downstairs primary with a king-size bed and private full bath, two upstairs bedrooms (one furnished with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds) that share a full bath, and a loft with two additional twin beds. The well-equipped kitchen with bar seating flows into a dining area, creating an excellent option for relaxed meals at home. The airy, open-concept living space has a sumptuous sofa, a large television, high ceilings, and huge windows for enjoyment of the lush outdoor landscape.

From the living space, sliding glass doors open to a sizable covered lanai with more welcoming places to lounge and unwind. A barbecue grill and dining table are surrounded by tropical vegetation that creates a secluded oasis for open-air meals. A community pool is also just a quick stroll away.

This updated vacation rental condo on the north shore of Kauai is ideally situated right next to the path for gorgeous Anini Beach. Other spectacular beaches like Puu Poa and Hideaways are also nearby, along with the renowned Princeville Makai Golf Course. Wonderful stay in Princeville
The property is very conveniently located with lots of great snorkeling and hiking nearby. The property contained everything we needed to cook meals, There were also beach chairs, towels and sand toys. We had what we needed for our family beach outings. It was very clean, comfortable and ready for our arrival. The pool is large and well maintained. The landscaping is lovely. I would stay there again on a future visit.

Beautiful
We loved our stay. Our kids felt right at home. It had everything we needed to cook when we wanted, and play at the beach. The property was clean and well maintained. We loved the grounds keeper, he was friendly and helpful since the parking lot was under construction when we stayed. There was a fun farmers market right up the road with delicious fresh fruit. The whole island is beautiful, this property included. I hope we get to come back again.

Comfortable condo in convenient Princeville location
Spacious and comfortable, this Princeville condo is perfectly located to explore Kauai's stunning north coast. The property was equipped with everything we needed for a pleasant family holiday (party of 8), including beach gear. Though perhaps in need of some refreshing (some of the domestic appliances are past their prime), Mauna Kai 2 offered the right mix of practicality, proximity to local shops and services, and great access to stunning local beaches. Hanalei bay is only a 10 minute drive away, making the Mauna Kai complex an excellent base. Ideal for running and cycling (or even golfing, if that's your thing). Sophia Levesque, the property manager, was helpful and responsive at all times (including when we needed to deal with a minor medical emergency). A very good place to stay on Hawaii's most beautiful island.

This is an end unit, so we had lots of natural light and breezes. The community pool is just a short walk away. It had everything we needed for our multi-generational family and not too fancy, so we felt comfortable with 3 active boys. Centrally located to all the beaches and sites on the north shore.

Great stay at a great location
We had a great time during our stay on Kauai and having a nice condo to return to each evening was a special treat. Even though the building is dated and it does not have A/C, everything worked and was very clean. The check in and out process was very easy and communication with the manager made everything run smoothly. We recommend this property for anyone vacationing on Kauai. Make sure to buy your supplies at Walmart or other store other then FoodLand… it was extremely expensive.

Lovely stay in Princeville
We enjoyed everything about the property except the primary shower. The shower head was really finicky, and half the time we had to hold a button to keep it on. Otherwise, things were great. It was an awesome location, just a half mile walk from the beach.

This place was wonderful. Rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. We were here in Nov/Dec. Lovely cool breezes throughout our stay. Good kitchen space with great pots, pans, and dinnerware. Great to have the washer and dryer. Comfortable beds and furniture. Nice outdoor space. Beautifully landscaped little condo community. There is a pool and grill very close by. Little shopping center, resort, and Anini Beach within walking distance. We appreciated the beach towels, coolers, and beach gear. Other guests/residents-mostly families of all ages- were friendly. The neighborhood was quiet especially after 10 pm. Really enjoyed our stay and felt it was a great value.

This place was certainly sufficient for our needs. Well stocked. Close to Queen’s bath and Hanalei Bay activities as well as walking distance to Wylie Beach. Management was very responsive to all inquiries and quick to fix a shower issue.

Princeville Vacation Rental (Mauna Kai 2)
Our stay at Mauna Kai 2 was amazing! The location in Princeville was in a perfect spot that was close to the Princeville Center and a short drive to Hanalei town. It was so nice having a washer and dryer in the home, and we definitely utilized the beach supplies that were accommodated (towels, chairs, boogy boards, goggles...). The only "negative" thing my husband and I would like to add is that there is no air conditioning. The way the windows opened allowed for plenty of air flow throughout the house, especially with the fans running. But because the windows had to be constantly opened, there was not very much privacy. The home is located right on the road, which caused for a lot of road noise throughout the day and night, and the chickens will wake you up at 4:30-5:00 am every morning crowing. Overall, our stay was absolutely beautiful, and we would definitely recommend Mauna Kai as a place to stay while on vacation in Kauai. Super comfy couch and beds.

Perfect condo for our family of 6. Very clean with perfect kitchen essentials. Nice lanai and beach supplies. Close to Anini beach and walk to Westin for our morning coffee and view of the bay. Highly recommend! We will definitely stay there again!

We were a family of 6 adults. House was more than adequate for our group. Kitchen supplies were sufficient even for more adventurous cooking. Living and dining room seating was good. Shopping close by. Does take a bit of driving to get to other towns and excursions.

Our two families with three kids enjoyed this property. You need a car for beach time but some of our group also enjoyed hanging out at the pool or playing an evening game of ping pong. This property is a easy walk to the grocery store and a bit of a playground as well. They provided loads of beach gear.

Good home, great location.
This was a nice place. It is outdated, carpets are old and throughout house. You’re paying for location here. North side is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach items including four boogie boards and snorkel gear that are not specified in the listing. There could have been more towels and fans, the house was not hot but it wasn’t cool. The windows are always open, fyi, along with bedroom doors to keep air moving. The beds were comfortable. I’d recommend this to people who aren’t extra picky about where they stay.

Kauai fun!
We had a great time staying here. We loved all the space! There were plenty of beds and rooms for our family of 6. It's decorated very nicely. The property itself is a little older. The pool area is ok, but nothing fancy. It's a great location on the North Shore, though, close to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world! The kitchen was well stocked, but did not have a disposal. The fans kept the place relatively cool and pleasant, however, it was pretty hot in June. It was really nice having beach towels and boogie boards provided for beach fun. The property manager was very good to work with and always quickly responsive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
