Sealodge A6 is a corner unit that offers guests breathtaking, unobstructed second floor oceanfront views from the living areas, lanai and bedroom. Wake up in a romantic ocean view bedroom that has louvered solid wood doors that glide shut to create a haven of privacy. Enjoy wooden floors throughout, upgraded kitchen appliances, comfortable furnishings and beautiful artwork from local Hawaiian artists. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable queen size bed, and 100% cotton linens and curtains throughout. There is an additional full sized bed in the living room area which also boasts an unobstructed ocean view. Full kitchen. Additional amenities include free wifi, cable television, washer and dryer. There is a pool and BBQ area (BYOB - Bring Your Own Briquettes).

Our Princeville vacation rentals at Sealodge Kauai are located at the end of a small quiet side road, with no through traffic, ending at a dramatic ocean bluff. For guests who are comfortable with a ten minute hike, a short but rugged private trail leads you from the unit to Sealodge Beach, where guests may enjoy all that Northshore Kauai beaches have to offer: swimming, sunning, beach combing, and snorkeling, Shopping and dining are conveniently close, with the Princeville shopping center and Foodland grocery store just a mile and a half away. The charming town of Hanalei and the world famous Hanalei beaches are a brief ten minute drive from the condo. Sealodge is comfortable, quiet, island casual and perfect for guests who wish to explore the Northshore and its unparalleled natural wonders.

As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned, but has overhead fans and invigorating cross-breezes from screened windows.

We loved our stay at Sealodge A6! We had an amazing view of the ocean, and beautiful grounds. We had a sticky screen door that was fixed in a very timely manner. We really loved the private beach. A little tricky to hike to, but so worth it!

Incredible view

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Don’t think you could ask for a better view. It was so nice seeing the whales from the lanai and listening to the waves crashing. Everything was close by. We did have an issue with the dryer not working which was a bummer since we had a weeks worth of laundry to do. Would definitely stay here again

View is a 10!! Unit shows its age - scratches on bathroom mirror like someone used scratch pad to clean; shower head crappy; some knives gave off flakes onto food (should be thrown out); large skillet warped; plastic shower curtain so stiff would not adhere to wall to contain water; no propane grill for BBQing on grounds (only charcoal grills - who wants to mess with that on vacation!). Bed was comfortable. Screen door to patio very difficult to open / close (gave up using it).Aloha.

Beautiful getaway

Wow, the views from the unit are absolutely stunning! We had such a pleasant, serene stay and even saw a whale from the lanai. Unit is comfortable and has all the basics you need. The dryer inside the unit was broken, but the host let us know about a coin operated dryer in the complex so we were able to do laundry without issue. Communication with the rental company was great and check in was a breeze. Would recommend and hope to return some day!

Beautiful view from room. Hear the ocean 24/7. Surprisingly good weather. But patio screen door very difficult to open and clothes dryer doesn’t work (doesn’t dry clothes).

Great Northshore base!

PROS: View. Listening to the Ocean. Proximity to Hanalei & Northshore beaches. Use of beach chairs & coolers. Laundry in unit. Private beach hike. Great price! CONS: Beds could be upgraded. (1king would be nice). Kitchen supplies are dated. 1-1/2hr drive to boat tours. *Close screen to avoid gnats.

The property is gorgeous and the condo really lovely and very clean and quiet. The furniture is really nice and the surprising thing is the beds could really be firmer and newer. I was surprised that with all of the attention to the rest of the unit, it seemed like less attention was on the comfort of the beds. For me they were quite soft. Otherwise we loved the unit and would love to return.

The place was just as described and clean for this germophobe! The view is incredible, bed was comfortable. My only complaints are technological -- we were so jet lagged we couldnt figure out the wifi wasnt working because everything was unplugged LOL. So just a note in check-in instuctions might be helpful for that. Only other thing, is the TV in the bedroom would turn on but the screen was black, i think it was burnt out. The TV in the living room would turn on and screen worked but the remote wasnt working, we bought new batteries but they didnt fix it. We were able to watch by streaming from our phone on the one rainy day we had, otherwise who needs TV in such a beautiful setting? would recommend.

Amazing place for a stay in Kauai.

My girlfriend and I absolutely fell in love with this place. The view we had from the bedroom waking up in the morning was stunning. The bed was comfortable, and the way the unit is positioned with all the windows open there is an amazing draft that comes through the whole unit. The location in Princeville is perfect, and it's so quiet and peaceful. While the price is certainly not cheap, I would consider it a value as compared to other places in Princeville based on the views alone and how nice the interior of the unit is. When we return to Kauai, we decided that we will want to stay here in this exact same unit again. So much so we took one of the fridge magnet with the company contact to rent from them directly. Also, communication was very good and when a small issue came up a quick call got it resolved within the hour.

Heaven, with a couple of glitches :)

Pros: The unit was right on the ocean, with the January waves crashing right outside the bedroom windows- really, really lovely. All the big windows were clean, giving us great views. Nice hand sewn linens, plenty of towels/beach towels. Great shower. Condo complex was super with a rocky path down to the beach, nice neighbors, happy staff. Cons: Our check-in (late flight delayed) after 10 PM was met with a lock that, after we retrieved the key from lockbox, refused to turn to let us in. Contacted property manager though, and someone was there within 20-30 minutes, late Sat night, to replace the lock. Pretty amazing! Place was kinda worn - pans were warped and there wasn't even salt in the kitchen (there was cleaning supplies, and coffee filters). I re-cleaned all the dishes/cups/silverware before use. Bedside lamp in bedroom needed a *good* cleaning or a new shade. Would we go back? Absolutely. The crashing of those waves outside was incredible.

We LOVED our stay!

If you're considering a spot in Princeville, THIS IS IT! It has the beach steps away and the unit was perfect for 3. It's close to Hanalei and lots of popular sites. We would definitely stay here again.
