Before I get started. The staff was phenomenal. They were kind. They smiled. They greeted you. They did the best to take care you. They made the stay bearable. Now my first room that I checked into the door jam was bent. You can tell that someone had pried the door open. The room should be out of inventory until its repaired. It had a chair that sat in this huge open space. No arm rest so you couldn't come into the room and sit for a minute unless you sat on the bed in your street clothes. They changed the room. This room had a recliner what a novel idea. Same size room got it right. Unfortunately each time we left the room there was a cockroach on the door. It could have been from a previous guest. But three of them hmmm. Day stay yes, the staff will make it worth it. Longer hmmm, not sure. La Quinta can do better. I stayed at a LaQuinta in Ocean City a month ago. They can do better.

This is a very good hotel. With the new Route 10 spur it is a short 5-10 minutes from the west side of Providence. The breakfast options are very good and delicious. the coffee is terrific and plentiful. The hotel staff does a great job of accommodating needs.

Not worth the cost
The room keys never worked. Even after asking for updated ones 4 times. We ended up propping the outside door so we could get back in and leaving our room door propped open slightly. Very annoying. There was only a drip of water from the faucet. We asked that they fix that the next morning, but upon return nothing had been done. Thankfully there was enough pressure in the shower to shower and brush our teeth in the tub.

Live mouse in room. Gross.
Typically cheap hotel. Found a live mouse/rat (not sure which one) in the room. It ran behind the dresser and I never saw it again. I presume it was living in the dresser somewhere. It was very difficult sleeping knowing there was a live animal living in the room with me. Also, the room I booked was "unavailable" and I was given a different room with two small beds, not the king I paid for. I would not stay here again, unless the mice/rats are chipping in on the nightly rate.

I was traveling with my dog and needed a dog friendly hotel. I’m picky about a room being clean this hotel as soon as I walked in I could tell it was clean. The beds were so comfortable and there were over 100 channels on the tv. It was reasonably priced and so worth it. I would recommend this hotel. There is a dogatopia beside it for dog care and a dunkin accross the street. A lot of food close by. They also offer breakfast but we never got up early enough to eat. If I come back I’m staying here.

I was a little worried after reading some review but was pleasantly surprised by my stay. The room was extremely clean, continental breakfast was adequate, and the bed was comfy. Doors are not sound proof though so you hear other guests in the halls. There is construction next door but we did not hear it from our room facing the back of the property. Overall a good place to stay for those on a budget.

Walked in pool of water on lobby floor that they had a sign around. Bug crawling on desk in room. Keys would not work on doors..(witnessed another couple with exact issue) When we checked out early, attendant asked what room we were checkung out of. As we ealked out of door, turned out to see gim continuing to pick his nose...(which is what he was doing when we approached desk) Run down,dated and dirty.
