Tucked away in the pine forest, a mere 400 feet from the ski run, is a stunning mountain contemporary home and one of the coolest remodels in Sundance. If you are looking for quick easy access to the ski run you are in the right spot. Just a few minutes on foot takes you to Stampede ski run.
It took a creative architectural genius to reconfigure this layout from top to bottom. For starters, each bedroom features an ensuite bathroom. Plus, the entire kitchen was moved up a level making it amazingly spacious and a great gathering area.
Games, games, and more games. Talk about fun for kids of all ages. The game room and family gathering area are the perfect hangout. Add to that a full size hardwood racquetball court, that doubles (or triples) as a basketball or pickleball court, and rec room with a ping pong table.
So, after taking advantage of a short 2 minute walk to the ski run, you can finish your day with all kinds of family fun and games.
All in all, Black Forest offers a unique blend of activities, games, skiing and just hanging out with family and friends.
Top Level:
-Family room with 75" tv, large wood or gas fire place,
-Fully stocked kitchen (seating for 16 between table and bar)
-Spacious bathroom with jetted tub, steam shower, laundry. 2 entrances on east and west of house
Middle level:
-3 master suites all 3 en-suites with king beds complete with in room 50" tv's (2 of these bedrooms are side by side and the don't have a complete wall 25 feet up near the skylights. Hard to explain but due to the architecture there top of the vaulted ceiling is open between the two bedrooms offering less privacy between the two bedrooms.
-1 bedroom - king bed w/ full bath & cedar lined shower in the hall right outside the bedroom - this room is lacking a closet and is the room that provides access to the spiral staircase to the lower level of the home.
-Family room with seating for 16. Flatscreen TV. Game tables: shuffle board, foosball, board games, arcade, books, cocktail table with 400 games, guitars & drums.
Lower Level:
- Interior access to the lower level is required to go through one of the bedrooms through a door that takes you to the spiral staircase. Not ideal for privacy for the guest in that room but it was the only way to connect the two levels.
-Kitchenette, small family room with 75" tv, Storage and laundry room
-Bunk room with 6 twin beds & 1 queen bed, flatscreen tv
-Rec Room: Ping pong table, bunk room, bathroom with tub, queen bed attached to bunk room.
-Rec room access from middle level outside. Has pickleball net, racketball, basketball and multiple other games
