The resort was beautiful and the staff were amazing. The buffet food was the best from any all inclusive that I've visited. Honestly its even better than their fancy onsite restaurants. That was probably the highlight of the trip for me.

The restaurant ( in special the buffet) is not clean. Too many people for the space. Always full of flies sitting on all foods and we saw cockroaches near the drink station and garbage. We also saw a waiter getting fork from the floor and putting back with the clean ones. Most servers are inconvenienced by your existence, so much of the drink refills had to be done by oneself. The food was disappointing. The fresh fruit is good but other dishes they use too much oil or inferior quality ingredients. Our bodies felt bloated and we felt physically not as well as when we arrived. Also, getting a reservation for their “restaurants” was not easy as they all booked up quickly. Ironically, all were no more than half full every time we did dine in them. It’s the same food in a different setting. Not worth the trouble only except for having fewer people. Theres a lot, A LOT of trash in the beach, sand and water. We collected a lot of plastic and pieces of glass for several days. No one from the resort seems to be concerned about the trash. We stayed 6 days and did not see any employee collecting trash from their private beach (only seaweed/drink cups). Despite being very careful (washing hands, drinking bottled water, avoiding crowds, etc) My daughter ( 5yo) got really sick on the last day, vomiting and diarrhea. Same for my husband and sister during the trip. We just got back home and are still sick. Definitely not the “stress free” experience we expected. We will never be back.

The resort is quite small with limited activities available. The food was not great but some of it was pretty good. Breakfast was awesome. Dinner and lunch, not so much. Options are limited and not done well. The Mediterranean and steak place was the best meals I had there. Everything else was not good. The service was fantastic. The staff were attentive and friendly. No complaints there. The place isn’t all that old and is already starting to show obvious signs of decay. Pat of the ceiling fall on me(paint). I wasn’t a fan of the “presentation”. They kept pushing me to entertain this so I did. It was basically a time share presentation. It was unnecessary and long. The swim out pool is a novel idea but it didn’t go anywhere. It’s essentially just a pool in your backyard. I likely won’t return here.

Overall it was an okay stay, staff were not very receptive to especially if you are a person of color. When we checked in I wasn’t even informed of how to get to my room, I had to walk in circles till I asked for help. The food was not good, all the specialty restaurant food was terrible and there was a lot of mosquitoes in the room. I got food poisoning from the hotel and to see the Dr on the property it cost $240 plus medication. Make sure to have a travel insurance.

I didn’t like most of the food options but that’s down to personal preference. liquor is the most bottom shelf selection that made me and my friend not even want to drink. There’s even a surcharge if you want to drink corona. All the towels in the rooms were old and dingy grey whereas the bathroom faucet was rusted, had hard water stains and this weird black bubbles that look like barnacles. I didn’t feel comfortable touching the faucet but was told that they wouldn’t change my room. Also the wifi gets really spotty at 5am each day.

I have been robbed there. My case is not the only one case, there are a lot of guests who lost their money in a very veird circumstances. Rooms are dirty, very poor English knowledge of hotel stuff. The food is ok but only ok- not really Dominican, the fruits are sour and unripe- I expected by that location fruits would taste amazing and it is like that but not in this hotel. The waiters didn’t react on questions or forgot about my orders several times. Hotel which allows to robber their guest shouldn’t have 5 starts.
