Aside from the room floors (no more carpet), rooms and hotel need a face lift. Old furniture, likely from the 80’s. Rooms limited sound proof. Disappointing.

Horrible elevators lines the length of the whole lobby, dated rooms, and archaic heating system with no précise temperature control I’ve stayed at this property many times over the past 30 years and they let me down this time

Voyant les évaluations de 2/10 à 10/10, j’ai décidé d’appeler et en gros, les chambres de base ne sont pas rénovées et c’est ce qui attire la plupart des mauvaises évaluations. Nous avons donc réservé la chambre supérieure (la catégorie la plus luxueuse avec chambre rénovée et vue sur le fleuve et château Frontenac). Nous étions donc plutôt satisfaits, mais même là il y avait de petits inconvénients: pas de savon dans le distributeur dans la douche, « coin détente » sans fauteuil, poussière au sol. Comme c’était le weekend avant Noël, l’hôtel était bondé et il fallait parfois attendre longtemps pour l’ascenseur en plus de n’avoir pas d’eau chaude un matin. Le personnel était toutefois très courtois et l’emplacement de l’hôtel est vraiment excellent. Vue superbe.

Wonderful hotel. Large and in good location. First room had a couple of issues (non-working mini fridge, heat not on, and bathroom maintenance needed) however; we spoke with the reception and were able to be moved. Elevator gets very busy during rush times so if you’re in a hurry to get down you may have to wait quite a bit.

Super well situated. Amazing view!!!!! Bed was comfi but pillows were a little too hard for my taste. The only negative point was the bathroom. Needs a remodel and the toilet was a little difficult to flush. Staff super freindly. Valet super efficient. Would recommend and I will most definitley stay there again in the future.

The check-in process, on a day when hundreds arrived for two events, could have been managed better so that it didn't take more than 35 minutes. On a couple of days the room was not done although we put the sign on the door knob, but it was manageable.
