Don't waste your money.
Will not stay at a Days Inn again. Tv didn't work (providers fault), tub and shower curtain were dirty, lights not plugged in, heat/ ac not plugged in, bare light bulbs in ceiling light, phone didn't work., no clock, towels should have been thrown out. Elevator floor carpet was beyond dirty. We couldn't wait to leave. Hotel clerk tried to be helpful. The room was expensive on top of it.

This property is s unkept & filthy. The shower was dirty, the floors throughout the building were filthy, wallpaper peeling in the room & a hole where the smoke detector should have been. We slept in our clothes on top of the most uncomfortable 'bed' I've ever had the misfortune to to attempt sleep on & the only reason we didn't leave is it was 'nonrefundable'.

Great location,old facility
This hotel is quite old and could use upgrades of all flooring, lights, linens, and towels. Staff were attentive and always polite. Heating/cooling systems worked but were loud. Refrigerator developed a loud hum. Fitness center seemed neglected. WiFi worked well. This is one of the few hotels in west Rapid City and has the potential to be a hotel of choice for the whole area if it were modernized and upgraded.

Wow! Where do I start? The exterior is unkept, the entry rug and carpet throughout the entire building is disgusting. The toilet moved when you sat on it I'm guessing because it was not sealed or was missing a wax seal. We checked in fairly late and probably should have just left and found another hotel but we grinned and bared it and just tried to not touch anything. The next day we heard there was a fight in the lobby where one guy was bleeding everywhere and the cops had to be called. We surprisingly slept through it. This place is in severe need of a complete overhaul, cleaning, remodel. I don't like to bash any business but this is unacceptable and I would not recommend.

There was a bowl of cerel in the room it had crumbs on the floor found pills, dirty and a floss pick for your teeth on the floor beside the night stand.

never cleaned the room...had to ask for clean towels and had to empty our trash...AND...last night/day found bed bug..live fat with blood...turned them in and he said thank you, if we find any when we get home, we will pursue legal action..

Let me just say, I do NOT do reviews frequently! ONLY when they are deserved. This one is very deserved! I want to say first, Bella the front desk host was AMAZING that girl should be the MANAGER of this hotel. Second, I will NEVER USE HOTELS.COM AGAIN I have been a very loyal customer of them for many years. I booked and paid for my room during Sturgis week, so that I for sure had it. We went to check in and the reservation was nowhere to be found. I showed Bella my receipt and she explained she couldn't check me in because she can't see it on her end. I ended up paying cash again for my room so twice paid. I had to call hotels for a refund they needed C!ndy Thomas to simply let them know that this was indeed the situation and I wasn't lying and for 45 days she wouldn't respond to emails, calls, NOTHING! I was ready to head down to SD to wait for her when I finally got a Hotels.com rep that was kind enough to just refund me because of this WOMEN'S lack of care! So frustrating! How do you call yourself a Hotel Manager C!ndy? R!cky the other front desk guy is just as bad! Bella had mentioned to me at my check in that this was the 5th time hotels.com has done this with their hotel (not sent the reservation) All I can say is I am sending lots of Love and Light her way to help make her a better person and I will never use Hotels.com again! WATCH OUT!

Never again! Days Inn should be ashamed.
Where do I start? Lamps had to be unplugged, replugged. Nothing worked with the switches. No plug in between the beds... hubby has a sleep apnea machine so we had to get an extension cord. Door knob pulled right off, luckily we were able to get it back on enough to open the door. Carpets were dirty and worn, elevator jumped and jerked. It was laughable. We were there for multiple days. No cleaning. No clean towels. The pool was a joke. Scummy. Weeds growing thru the cracks. Just a bad experience! Never again! They give Days Inn a bad name.

Property was in poor condition, not very clean, lights don’t work in rooms, they say breakfast is included but everything was pretty much empty. I would not recommend or stay here again.
