I liked the cleanliness of the room.The beds are comfortable.We we're on the second floor.Noise from someone walking around above us was loud.We we're not able to find a parking space in lot next to Inn...asked where we could park,we were told to look for space out on the street somewhere.We ended up parking in another lot as curbs were painted red on the streets near the Inn.

I appreciate that the front desk associate gave me a free upgrade to a suite for my room. I also greatly appreciated the recommendation of Whiskeytown and hiking pamphlets that emphasized waterfalls. I love that they use Dove brand for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and lotion. It's the first time in a long time that my skin didn't feel dry from staying at a hotel, so please continue to use this good soap brand!! The bed was soft and comfortable. I loved the pork sausage at breakfast and wish they could have that available everyday. I also appreciate the 11 am check out time.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Corning and was extremely disappointed with the condition of the hotel. Our room was dirty, with hairs in the bedroom and rust spots in the shower. The room was also extremely hot, at 82 degrees, and the air conditioner was so loud that it kept us awake. The pullout couch bed was not prepared with basic linens, and when I went downstairs to request them, the hotel only had one blanket available. The entire hotel had a strong, unpleasant odor of marijuana, cigarettes, and cat urine, which triggered my son's allergies and caused him to cough all night. Additionally, the refrigerator in our room did not work, and the business center had two broken computers and was surrounded by trash. The utility and staff rooms appeared to have damaged doors, and our second room did not have a safety locking feature on the inside. Overall, our stay was very uncomfortable and I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Everything was straightforward and fine, and superior to previous experiences with competition at the same level, notably the breakfast and shower. Only downside was the sluggish and difficult-to-access Wifi. That wasn't good at all.
