We asked for a quiet room when booking online and we definitely had a quiet room. The bathroom vanity had sufficient room for toiletries and doing hair and makeup in the morning. We stayed with a different Days Inn in BC in June 2024 and the bathroom vanity was tiny and cramped. So we were relieved with this setup.
Breakfast was fantastic. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax. The bed was comfy. Our room was clean and lovely.
We could see that this property is undergoing renovations so there are some areas marked as such but it didn't hinder our stay. I hope they find a way to make the entry to the pool a bit more private as currently, anyone entering the lobby from outdoors can see guests in their swimsuits entering and exiting the pool. I would imagine that would be very chilly for guests leaving the pool during the winter months.
If I were to change anything about this hotel, I would suggest management to have more staff during check in hours (after 4 pm). The fellow who checked us in is an absolute hard-working gem! He was the only one there to check guests in, tend to guest queries, and manage the phone which did not stop ringing. Even when there was a line up, he handled each request warmly.
All in all, we would definitely come back. :)
