I had a horrible (that’s putting it lightly) experience with the front desk employee today.
My room was booked a month prior. I showed up today close to 3pm to be told very nonchalantly Taylor did not have time to call me prior, but my room had extensive damage and I could no longer stay there. I asked what I’m supposed to do and she said she called the Best Western and they had one room left. She had time to call them though, just not me who showed up with nowhere to stay. Horrible in so many ways.
I asked her what if I didn’t want to stay at Best Western (3 exits down the road) and she said she didn’t know what to tell me and that was my option.
You’ve read this far, so if you’re jaw isn’t open from the utter lack of any good customer service and even care on her part how inconvenienced I was, then I don’t know what to say.
I never raised my voice. What I did was let her know how unacceptable that was and Taylor had a classic tantrum and yelled at me to leave for harassment. She called 911, I met the officer outside and explained what happened inside. His response was finding out there was no room at 3pm checkin was wrong.
I will never recommend this hotel, but I will let every one I know about this experience.
Absolutely horrible with the weakest way to even help accommodate me.
