Welcoming basic hotel
Great Starting point for our family tour of Iceland. Easy parking and 20 minute walk to downtown. Yummy afternoon cake with tea and plentiful healthy breakfast. Courteous front desk attendant provided best dinner recommendation. The room is basic and a bit worn with poorly insulated windows so we heard a lot of traffic noise, but good deal for hotel with room for family in Reykjavík.

Our room was a great fit for 2 adults and 2 teens. Everything was clean and comfortable; the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed only one night and had to leave just before breakfast the next day, but we saw the breakfast layout and were impressed with the options. Hoping to go back to Reykjavik in the near future, and this is the first place I'll look for lodging.

Staff was very helpful and friendly the breakfast in the morning was amazing as was the cake at 5pm. We had an issue with our booking and the hotel manager Monica made sure to give us a room and even saved us some cake.

LOVED our stay! We were very comfortable in their room, very friendly staff especially our Polish host. Tasty breakfast and enjoyed the ping pong table!! Very easy to get to. Will definitely stay here again if I ever come back, hopefully soon!!!
