I booked 2 rooms for my daughter’s birthday. I thought it was closer to Carowinds than what it was. Check in was long! The guy checking people in was very slow and honestly not sure he knew what he was doing. Check in was about 30 minutes! The rooms appeared to be clean and smelled clean. The mattresses was stained and I did see a bug that appeared to be a roach, it ran fast! This was around midnight after Carowinds. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Absolutely horrible check in process. Myself and a few other patrons checking in had to walk back behind the desk into a back room to wake up the staff member that was supposed to be working the front desk. This was approximately 9:15pm so not terribly late. Once the staff member finally did wake up he appeared very groggy and under the influence. I would NEVER recommend this facility. I had initially considered dialing 911 as it took a very long time to arouse this staff member.

The room smelled like smoke. The shower was yucky as well. Was told ice machine in 3rd floor so went there it didn’t work nor did the one in the 2nd floor.

i wasn’t able to stay there due to hurricane helene, there was no power and was not able to check in. I wish they would’ve called and let us know before hand to find another hotel, we had to drive home at 1. in the morning due to us not finding any hotels. which sucks because we were looking forward to checking charlotte out but i was very upset. But the receptionist was very sweet.

No Power. No communication. No refund
When I arrived at the hotel there was no power they didn’t call or email to tell anyone that they did not have power and without power they could not issue room keys or provide refunds. Several people in line to check in said they were going to sleep in there car they had no where else to go. It’s been a week and I still have not received refund. Even with there system down there should be a way to contact people to make arrangements or arrangements should be provided.

Drive 21/2 hours with no phone call or email to let me know they were unable to check me on or give me my refund so we could get another hotel. Had to sleep in my car. They need to have a way of checking people I’m without being dependent on computers.
