Within easy walking distance of all the main sights, especially the Vatican. No room service or evening meals are provided, only a continental style breakfast, although a number of restaurants are within about a 10 minute walk. The staff were very helpful and very polite, helping to make the stay an enjoyable one. The hotel is situated on the third floor of an elegant looking apartment block and even though it has an elevator it would not be suitable for those having a problem climbing stairs. I walked to all the main tourist attractions within Rome, e.g the Pantheon, Coliseum, Spanish Steps and the Vatican etc, using the map provided by the hotel. The room I had was clean and tidy, albeit a little dated, with a small shower room. There was no bath and no electric shaving point, but it did have air conditioning and a small lcd tv. I did not need the air conditioning as I went during November so cannot comment as to how good it may have been. It is situated in a side road full of parked cars and I did not see anywhere you could have parked in the area, so it would be best not to drive there but to take the airport shuttle service which seemed good value for money compared to the taxi service.
If, like me, all you really want is somewhere to sleep and to freshen up after a long days sightseeing, then this hotel is perfect.
