Well placed budget hotel
This was very close to the main train station in Rome, Termini, which made it very easy to get to from the airport and to sightsee Rome from. Getting in was difficult. We had to ring a number and then wait for them to get in touch with the person inside. A doorbell would have been easier. The staff member who greeted us was very polite, had a good level of English for showing us the room and explaining everything. There was a coffee machine in the room and a few snacks. The room itself was reasonable considering the price. However, the water was lukewarm in the evening, the next morning it was hot enough though.

I had a great experience here. Friendly, attentive staff who offered us a complimentary breakfast, and organising late check in was very straight forward. Accommodation wasn’t exactly as the images had presented but everything was great, and much more spacious and well equipped than expected. Good shower too (which is often a downfall in hotels!). Great location to reach all the essential parts of Rome. Highly recommend.

Terrific experience, but one small caution
Our favorite memory of our visit to Rome will be staying at this terrific hotel. Everything about our room was great including the daily delivery of a light breakfast to our room by a wonderful and helpful young man. There must be an interesting story behind how these lovely and modern rooms came to be located virtually in the gorgeous Moses Fountain. However, there is one small caution if you are elderly or handicapped. There are over 70 steps to the upper rooms and this might be a problem for some guests.

72 stairs up to a room that was 80 plus degrees, no working AC and a broken safe, LATE breakfast service, requested at 8 and got it at 9. The only plus I can think of is the young man who checked us in brought our bags up to our room.

Clean and close to attractions
This is a cute little hotel that's close to most of the major attractions or transit lines in Rome. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful and overall the room was fairly clean. My disappointment with this hotel was the bed - the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on, you would literally feel the bed springs poking through the fabric and it made for two very uncomfortable nights sleep.

Modern guest house at a perfect location, right behind the Moses Fountain. (Actually the same building) Receptionist 'Hasan' was incredibly friendly and helpful! He runs the complex to the highest standards!

Great one man staff
Only one person works at the hotel, so it is very difficult and confusing to get in upon arrival (you need to call one of the numbers by the door, or knock on the door very hard for a while). The staff (of which, once again, consists of a single person) was most friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and comfortable. there are several flights of steps to climb to get to your room, no matter what room you get (there are only 6 rooms). The location is not terrible, but it isn't the most convenient either if you are walking to all the tourist attractions.

Fantastic hotel, staff friendly and helpful, I stayed in room 1 titled 'Swanky' very modern with a lovely bathroom, room was clean. We had a balcony that overlooked the Church of Santa Maria.

Overall 4.5/5 room had a few minor cleanliness issues, coffee wasn't refilled and unfortunately the machine wasn't emptied from the previous stay which caused the waste bin to overflow and water leaked over the table. Team I encountered were very friendly and helpful

Great room but poor breakfast
Only issue was the breakfast which was very poor especially for the price of the room so would suggest eating at a local café if you plan to do anything active for the day and was perhaps one of the worst coffees I have ever tasted which in Italy is a sacrilege. Hotel although I would more call it several rooms was less than 10 mins walk from Termini and in an excellent location close to all attractions, metro, bus etc. Room furnished to a high level with balcony with great bathroom. Would recommend if you're looking for a central place to stay.

Want to live in Rome? Stay at Moses Fountain
Staying at the Moses Foundation hotel was the best decision we could have made for our one week trip. The hotel has a perfect location to easily access the train and bus system. Staying in the hotel you are given a code for two doors and a key to your room. The hotel is difficult to find as the addresses seem to count buildings on the block and there is a large gap between the location of 97 and 98L. The staff at Moses Fountain were very friendly and served us breakfast on the patio or in our room depending on the weather. Everything was very clean and the only area for improvement is to consolidate the wifi hotspots to one network as the construction materials of the building is not conducive to a consistent wifi signal. Should I return to Rome, this will be the hotel I would choose. Don't think twice, book now.

Frustrating
My flight was scheduled to arrive in Rome at 9:30 pm. I let the hotel know that I would be a late arrival and they acknowledged. I was told that the shuttle service from the hotel was free and ran 24/7 every hour on the hour. My flight was delayed about 40 minutes because of weather in Rome so I arrived about 10:40 pm. I attempted to call to let the hotel know that I was delayed; however, I could not get anyone to answer the phone. In addition, there was no shuttle waiting for me. So I contacted Expedia and spoke with Michaelangelo. He did make contact with the hotel but no one spoke English well enough to help. He told me that when he tried to call back, the reception was closed for the night. So my husband and I were in the Rome airport with no transportation as promised and no hotel. Michaelangelo was very good and at around 1:00 am, he was able to find us lodging in Rome but we had to make our own transporation to the hotel - about 48 Euros - which was unexpected as we were to told the shuttle was free to the first hotel. The taxi person di did not take credit cards so we were even more delayed by trying to get Euros out of an ATM to pay the taxi driver.

Great hotel in great location
Second stay at this hotel - it's small, intimate and perfect for couples. The hotel is up a couple of flights of external stairs so not suitable if stairs present a problem. Great price to boot made this a super stay!

Excellent Place to Stay -
Stayed here for 4 nights and would describe Moses Fountain as an “Excellent” place to stay. 10 minute walk from the station and then you have easy access to most of the main sites of Rome. Christina is on site up to early afternoon and looks after you very well. Lovely lady and happy to help as she can. She provides a great fresh continental breakfast which is plenty to get you started for the day and it is delivered to your room at a time requested. Our room was spacious clean and with good storage. Bathroom was very clean with a great bath and shower with clean towels provided most days. Plenty of hot water, Quiet stay, little garden terrace outside. There are about 25 steps to manage to access Moses Fountain, but if you can manage these, this is a really excellent place to stay in Rome. There is no reception here but you will receive details on how to access the building on your arrival. Make sure you read them and it is easy and not a problem at all. Great value compared to a lot of accommodation in Rome. Thankyou Christina for looking after us.
