This is by far my worst experience ever at a hotel. I like to start off by saying the front desk girls did try to help out to the best of their ability but what went on was far out of their control and no manager was ever present tohelp.I first arrived at the property and was given my room. Apparently, they control the temperature in your room from their office. I told them i wanted 68 degrees. Went to the room and realized the ac didn't work. told them about it and they gave me another room. When into that room the AC didn't work. Tired to open the window but the back faces a toilet exhaust so that wouldntwork.Went downstair and got another room. Guess what? AC didnt work in that room. I told them to leave me in this room because at least it faced the front and i would open the window till they fixed the ac. Doesnt end there. Following day i have to move my room to the room with AC. Its not ready when i leave in the morning so i tell them to move my clothes into my room after my new room is ready. Come back after a long day. Guess what? my suitcases are not in my room. They had to go looking for it. They finally found it and i went to my room. ITS NOT DONE. i spend 2 night in that room. on the day i leave i look in the mirror after a shower and i see red dots all over my back and my sides. THEY HAD BED BUGS!!!! i had to almost miss my flight. find new luggage. Wash and dry my clothes before i got on the plane. Worst experience of my life. I do not recommend this place at all

What a great place to stay! The hotel is near Roma Termini which makes exploring the city easy as well as making longer day trips convenient. The staff was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the cities many interesting areas. Everyone was fluent in English and gladly assisted us in learning Italian phrases that we wanted to know. The room was clean and recently remodeled. The bathroom was exquisite. The bed was perfect, neither too firm nor too soft. We were lucky enough to get the room with the street view. It added to our Rome experience. In fact, we liked it so much we booked another night there later this month.

We stayed here twice. Staff is great and we like the location. Last year our room was quieter both from street noise and fellow hotel guests-it was in the back. One negative: the electric outlets. The outlet in the bathroom is only for razors. The only useable outlet in the room was next to the bed, with no mirror. Doing hair and makeup is very difficult. Make sure you have your electric adapter. Suggestion:A full length mirror near the outlet would be useful and get an ice machine.

This property was conveniently located near the train station, and was easy to find. Upon checking in, Luca gave us a map and told us all the must-sees during our short stay, with directions and recommendations, which made exploring quick and easy. Our room was comfortable and quiet. We would absolutely stay at this small hotel again. Thank you!

Great location and staff. Can't really get better for value for money. Rated average because where the kettle positioned theres no plug so had to keep moving it to use, also shower was not very powerful at all, lot of spider webs on ceiling corners. Not much lighting especially in the wardrobe. But staff helpful and location really good for price.

I feel like I got catfished with the pictures of this property vs real life. Looked like there may have been mold or water damage in the walls as they were contorted and wallpaper was peeling off - strange smell in room. Staff is friendly and helpful though.

The Prassede Palace is a lovely boutique hotel hidden in the small streets of Rome. First, I have to say is that the staff is wonderful, especially Fatima, who went far above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and assisted us in making any arrangements we needed. This is not gratuitous- she is truly an asset. I was surprised to find that this hotel is very small. While the hotel is billed as a "Hotel, Restaurant and Convention Center," there is 1 floor of 8 or 9 rooms, the restaurant is actually next door, and the Convention Center is a meeting room. The rooms are small, and we found it difficult to navigate the room with all of our luggage. The bathroom was well appointed, but the water pressure was a little lacking. While it was a very hot week in Rome, the A/C would not go lower than 23C- we prefer it a little cooler. And my last bit of criticism is that it was very difficult to get ice for our drinks that we brought back with us. We had to go down to the restaurant next door and ask the bartender for a glass of ice, and he looked at me like I had two heads. Luckily, Fatima spoke to him, and he was ready for us next time. Overall, the hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfortable with high end linens, rates were reasonable, the breakfast next door was delicious, and as I said, the staff was wonderful. I can certainly overlook the criticisms I noted above, but the purpose of these reviews is so people know what to expect. I highly recommend.
