Enjoyable stay
Staff vary pleasant. Leisure centre vary clean and good place to spend an hour Drinks in bar expensive bars just down the road much cheaper. Really need to do something with outdoor space could be vary nice area to sit and enjoy a coffee or a drink Also don't think residents should have to pay for parking. Bar menu expensive. If they want to keep guests in hotel should look at reducing bar price's

Generally the hotel is of a high standard however, I did experience a few issues: Wifi signal was very poor for me [room 566] It was almost impossible to flush the toilet My safe didn't work

Disappointing.
I have stayed in Whites many times and like it. The staff are friendly and helpful the location is good and the hotel is comfortable. However this stay was disappointing as I ordered breakfast to the room and this never arrived. (The breakfast order card placed outside the door had been collected) .This messed up my plans for the morning and I had to pay for breakfast at another location!

One of the cups in our room had a coffee stain in it & there was only one teaspoon for two people, poor. We had to go to a lobby before going up to reception, the lobby smelt of fusty towels or such like. It made us feel like we were third rate visitors staying underground, the price paid did not reflect that. We will not be staying in any further Clayton hotels.

Two day visit to relatives in town. Hotel is central n everything is walkable; fortunately because streets are narrow with traffic movements very slow. Good shopping n dining options
