Bright, Homely Flat Overlooking Rothesay Bay

The flat is bright, homely, warm and comfortable. It is situated on the front street across from the beach, on the 2nd floor, within 7 mins walking distance from the pier where the ferry comes in, and 2 mins from the supermarket and town.
There are two bedrooms, one to the front with a kingsize bed and lovely views over the whole bay, and another with twin single beds. The flat sleeps 4 people comfortably with a fold up bed for an extra person if needed.
There is a modern kitchen with all appliances, i.e. oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle and toaster etc.
There is a modern 5 piece bathroom with wc, wash basin, bath, shower and bidet. All towels and bed linen, shampoo and shower gel are provided, along with beach towels and buckets & spades for the kids. There is also wifi, a hairdryer, ironing board and iron, and a high chair along with a complementary bottle of wine for you to sit at the end of the day and enjoy the view !
There is a TV with a large selection of dvd's in the comfortable front lounge, also a small TV in the kitchen/dining room.
There is a large free car park at the back of the building and your car is visible from the back windows, there are also free parking spaces at the front of the flat as well.
There is a key safe for access into the apartment for the rare occasions that I can't be there to welcome you myself.
We are very pet friendly.

Big Views!!!

We had a wonderful time at Angela’s lace in Rothesay Bay. The bed was large and comfortable, the kitchen was large and well equipped and I appreciated all the bath products! The shower was simple to use as well. The views from the front windows were amazing and the place is light and bright.

What a Delightful Surprise

Angela gave us all the information we could possibly think to ask for before we arrived, and there was still more information in books and brochures around the flat. Best of all was what we came to refer to as "the bible," which had the tips that most people just never think to mention - like exactly what the various washer cycles do and which wall switches and timers control what. To be honest, I was more than a little suspicious that in the description, there wasn't a picture of the double bedroom. So I was prepared for some sort of surprise. Nope. It was spacious and comfortable and had a killer view of Rothesay Bay. Since the flat overlooks a major street to the Bay, I had also been concerned about traffic noise. However, for all we could tell, everyone on the island must use electric vehicles at night. There was no noticeable road noise and, better yet, the 2:00 a.m. troubadors that seem to inhabit every town of any size must not like the acoustics in that area. Ample parking is right behind the building, but there is also ample free on-street parking right in front. Being naturally lazy, I went with the on-street parking, because it was a shorter walk to carry luggage in from the car. And I can't say enough about Angela, who practically hovered over us to make sure that we found the place OK, got in without any issues, and got cozied in without any confusion. She even followed up afterward to ensure our stay was perfect - a true hostess. We'll be back.

Super spacious, well equipped, very quiet. Great central location for supermarket and cafes/restaurants. Very handy for checking the ferry terminal. Best recommendation is that we would stay here again.

Lovely property on a lovely island

The flat was quaint and clearly somewhere that had been well cared for. Angela made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Fantastic views from the front windows and the flat is in convenient proximity to the harbour and Rothesay.

Bay view apartment on Rothesay

A beautiful well presented and spacious apartment. We could have taken nothing with us and still needed for nothing as the host had thought about everything. We cannot say enough about this place and how well informed we were kept. We will definitely be back here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a home from home during their break.

The owner of the apartment was excellent in giving us all the information we needed both before & during our stay. The apartment is on the second floor, has magnificent sea views, is spotlessly clean, central location & contains everything you could possibly need. 19 Argyle Street Rothesay Isle of Bute

Flat located in a sea front location, with splendid views and good safe parking at the back of the property. We managed to park right outside, but this is not always possible during busy holiday periods. The flat was spotless and well equipped with everything that one may need. The only drawback is that it is located on the second floor of a 3 storey block, with commercial premises below. We hadn't realised this, which caused some climbing problems for my wife and also for my right knee. As we were not going up and down many times a day, it didn't however create too many problems. Would we recommend staying here, absolutely, especially as random contact with the owner was not a problem.
