Aangenaam rustig hotel
Geweldig mooie en ruime kamer, wij hadden wel geen standaardkamer, die zijn een pak kleiner denk ik. Een mooi bad met ingewerkte regendouche. Alles was heel proper bij aankomst. Een salonnetje met grote leren zetel en tv aan de muur. Heel stil om te slapen, geen enkel lawaai. Beneden mooi restaurant en salons met open haard, vooral in de winter heel gezellig denk ik. Het eten in het restaurant was heel lekker. Het enige minpunt voor mij was het ontbijt : de kwantiteit was er maar de kwaliteit was niet goed : slecht fruitsap, warme chocolademelk van smaakloos poeder, afbakkoffiekoekjes en afbakstokbrood dat dan zelfs nog niet genoeg afgebakken was, hesp met een zurige smaak, fruitsla die niet vers vers meer was; Spijtig en onbegrijpelijk aangezien de kwaliteit van het eten in het restaurant wel top was, De ligging van het hotel was top, een klein rustig dorpje met veel wandelroutes. Het hotel heeft ook een mooie grote tuin waar iets kan gedronken worden

We vonden de locatie goed gelegen. Maar toen we 's avonds op het terras zaten en iets wilden bestellen duurde het tamelijk lan, minstens 15 min. We zaten daar een hele tijd en we zagen dat de glazen wijn minder en minder gevuld werden (een 3-tal gedurende een 2-tal uur). Het koste 7 euro voor een glas huiswijn en het laatste glas was amper gevuld. Dus zeker een minpunt. We hebben het personeel daar ook over aangesproken en toen werd dit intern ook besproken. Ik vind 7 euro voor een glas wijn ook al heel veel voor een streek in de Ardennen, zelfs al is het een gastronomisch restaurant waar je kan gaan eten. De kamers zijn zeker niet navevant. Ok, dat het een gastronomisch restaurant is, dat kan ik begrijpen m Wat betreft het ontbijt zijn we zeker ontgoocheld. We hadden rond 8.30 u doorgegeven om te gaan ontbijten. Het duurde enorm lang vooraleer we ons ontbijt kregen. Ik denk dat we minstens 30 à 40 minuten hebben zitten wachten. Ik zag aan de andere mensen dat ze ook al lang zaten te wachten en dat het te lang begon te duren. Er werd nooit een voorstel gedaan voor een eitje s'morgens. IK weet met het Corona-virus dat het moeilijk ligt maar een eitje 's morgens is wel op zijn plaats. Ik zag dat zij het enige personeelslid was die morgen terwijl er de avond voordien minstens 3 à 4 rondliepen. Ik vind het heel jammer dat we niet de service kregen die we ons vooropgesteld hadden voor ons 186 euro voor een kamer.

Très chouette séjour au sein de cette auberge à la décoration kitsch au niveau du Rez de chaussée. Chambre simple mais confortable. Petit déjeuner copieux et le restaurant « les sept fontaines » attenant est digne d’un très bon gastronomique à des prix abordables. Awenne est un village très calme et très agréable mais seul bémol, Il n’y a rien (superette, cafés, etc.).

Bij boeking expedia, niet de kleinste kamer gevraagd. Daar de kleinste kamer gekregen. Kamer was echt klein, geen goed bed. Eten en ganse accommodatie zijn super. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.
