We wanted a room that looked down on Temple Square. Instead, the staff gave us a room next to a large window that gave us that view. Very kind.

The rest of the property felt well cared for but our bathroom in our room was pretty bad. The area around the shower drain was dirty and the second you turned the shower on the drain was very clogged and immediately started filling the tub. No one wants to stand in a tub getting stopped up from something in the drain, doesn’t feel very hygienic. Staff was nice but I do think the shower needs to be maintained just as much as everything else!

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Rooms were comfortable. Air conditioning unit was great in the summer heat. Amenities were provided, except for a percolator. Breakfast is NOT free, prices vary for food and drinks for sale in the lobby. There is one source of drinking water, located in lobby. Connecting door between rooms was narrow and heavy, two people in our party had their hand injured by the door. The parking garage ceiling is too low for average vehicles. The ceiling height is below 6 feet 4 inches. My car was damaged by the hanging rail upon entering the regular parking area. The hotel should advise about this upon check in and provide space for higher vehicles to park in their reserved space with a much higher height clearance.

The hotel is extremely well located in the main downtown area with public transportation right at the doorstep. With a $5 all day pass, one can travel all over SLC including the SLC airport. The rooms are comfortable and well lit.

Fantastic place and staff

Fantastic stay, second time staying here, sad that they will be tearing hotel down nov 2025 to make a parking garage. In the meantime it's close by all downtown features. Staff super friendly. Even had a medical emergency which they called us an ambulance and we're very knowledgeable and professional about everything, as well as genuinely concerned for our well being when we returned.

Excellent location. The lobby was a little dated. Room veryclean. Breakfast available for purchase, but at the price of the room it should have been included. Same with the parking. No shuttle to the airport. You have to take the train. The water indicators were backwards causing a delay in taking a shower. Pool area not very inviting, but you're probably not going there for the pool. Location is ideal if things are open. While Temple Square is under construction, you can stay elsewhere and take advantage of the free parking provided by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (parking may need validation at the Conference Center.

Over full ashtray, and stuffed with garbage as we saw it walking by. Garbage laying around out front. Our refrigerator did not work, were there 2 days. The parking pass was not explained to us. We come from a small town with no parking garages, so it was confusing. When we asked about it, she asked why we would pull the ticket out. We felt stupid, but we had no idea. Other than that, it was great!
