Good 4* hotel. (But not 5*)
Good facilities, BUT averge service. No gym, long check in period, no Netflix possibilities in the room, and many German speaking channels and two english news. Last - they didny have hot water in the last day and couldnt inform when they will.

Our stay at Hyperion hotel was initially nice, but our opinion of this establishment plummeted when they double charged us and refused to provide a refund. At checkout we talked with the front desk, and they listed the charges we had accrued during our stay, which were correct. We had prepaid for this stay five months ago so it was just a few things here or there. The man working the front desk also took my email address down to send me a receipt. Everything seemed fine, but then a few hours later a vastly larger charge appeared on my credit card statement. Hyperion hotel had not provided me with the promised receipt, so the only thing I could assume was that this was accidental. Frustrated, but still feeling like everything was okay, I reached out to Expedia who in turn reached out to Hyperion. Hyperion said it was accidental and they’d refund me, but then a few hours later contacted me saying that they had changed their mind and the payment would remain on my credit card because they had some issue receiving the payment from Expedia. When I called to clarify they told me that although my payment to Expedia 5 months ago was valid they just couldn’t figure out how to get that money from Expedia so they charged me again instead of reaching out and resolving things with Expedia as they should have done. Now I’m in an awful limbo trying to get Hyperion and Expedia to communicate when I shouldn’t have been bothered with this to begin with. It is extremely unprofessional.

A very beautiful and welcoming hotel. The location was very convenient, close to walking paths that lead you to the city center and the shopping areas. The staff was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and offered excellent customer service. The room itself was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel lobby area and the cocktail bar were both very nice, and the breakfast was outstanding!

This is a beautiful property in a great area in Salzburg. Right across from Mirabell Gardens and very close to a tram station. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast was included for us but if not included then pretty pricey, but very good nonetheless. Overall an excellent stay.

Everything was perfect until we went to pay the bill for the 17th and 18th. The Expedia amenities included breakfast. They charged us two breakfasts. we fought to get a refund, but they insisted that breakfasts were not included in the reservation.

We had a nice stay at the Hyperion but it could have been a bit better. The initial check-in was slow. Our room was nice, but seemed to be in an out-of-the way corridor of the hotel, which is an old palace. We stayed for 2 nights. Arriving back after our first dat of sightseeing, our room had not been cleaned although it was past 4:30 pm. The front desk told us they had till 5:00? There was a food cart in the corridor from room service that had been out there all day. The breakfast was wonderful, probably the best we have ever had at a hotel. Would have been wonderful anywhere. The staff, overall, was friendly and helpful. The location is close to Mirabell Gardens, which are actually on the edge of the touristy part of Salzburg, so the hotel itself is not really in the tangle of the busiest tourist areas to be sure. There are some nice restaurants near by.

Very nice hotel. The room we had was remodeled recently, had very nice features, was super clean, and really comfortable. The hotel is close enough to walk to everything and there is an abundance of food and drink nearby. The breakfast was very nice with staff on had to make personalized omelets and such. All the staff we had contact with were exceptional. This is a place we plan on coming back to and exploring more and will stay here again.
