We had to call 3 times to get the housekeeper to come and clean our room. We called for towels, valet parking was expensive, and they also damaged our car, spilled a full ice chest of water in the trunk of our car

I really enjoyed the propertys location but the toilet was not working and we checked in late about 6pm. After going to dinner at 7, they said they would sending someone right over. We Went to dinner, grabbed drinks to give them more time, came back to room about 1030pm ready for bed and the toilet still had not been looked at. Thankfully mae switched our room but it was now a much smaller room so that was unfortunate. The maintenance guy came to the old room & told us we would still have to wait 30 minutes because of the stuff he put in toilet. Apparently those chemicals require you to get out of room for an hour or so so the fact that that wasn’t taken into consideration was very disappointing. The beds were comfy, room clean, shower pressure ehhh, but breakfast staff was great! Hannah did a wonderful job serving us. Also mae had given us breakfast vouchers since our rooms had to be switched so late. Location is ideal and 1 Watson is a wonderful rooftop bar. Sebastian & Taylor made the most amazing drinks! Overall i just wish the toilet issue had been resolved quicker and that i hadn’t been assigned a room Initially with that problem. We were only there 1 night and i ended up with a less expensive room category at 11pm with no refund for paying for a more expensive room category. Will consider giving it another try eventually. I am a travel agent so unfortunately this may not be my initial downtown recommendation.
