Super location near the beach with trolley & bus stop right out front. Rooms with balconies facing central open air courtyard with fountain, lovely & quiet. Nice pool setting. Nice continental breakfast.

Our stay here was fine. Everything was perfectly fine, but not exceptional. Nice that they include breakfast, which was also...fine. Nothing amazing. It's not in a super walkable area, but short uber to the main part of San Clemente.

The room definitely needed updating. There was rust and holes in the bathroom and closet. Our friend also stayed at the hotel but got an “updated” room. Her room was beautiful and we basically paid the same amount for a room that was not nice at all

The Inn was a peaceful place to stay. The room was clean and spacious. I even had a balcony to sit outside and enjoy the weather. What I didn't like was the only ice machine that worked was on the third floor.

Needs a good scrub of the carpet and new sheets.
Nice place but it is dirty. My sheets were stained and looked as if they had not changed them. I requested another clean set but they were stained as well. Not a good policy to have dirty and stained old sheets. The carpet is very dirty as well.

Worst hotel I’ve been to in years.
NOTHING like the pictures. specify that you want the remodeled rooms. The room we got smelled like wet dog and the carpets were old and dated. Our towels were dirty and had make up on it. No soap and no shampoo provided. Ac was terrible. Curtains are grimy… YET I was chill about it, waited for 30 minutes at the front desk with no help to see if I can upgrade. The website said there were rooms available and the front desk said they were fully booked tonight. lol On a Sunday with so many parking spaces still available?? ... I had a terrible experience here and would not recommend.

television kept going out, tissue and tp were not stocked in room, had to keep calling when we ran out and had to wait for someone to bring it to us. redeeming qualities: manager was very nice and professional. i have stayed here several times, this is the first time we had issues with the room supplies.

The kitchen area was too small and I did not like the morning breakfast organisation itself. Other than that, all was fine. The front desk guy was very nice and helpful.

Unfortunately we booked this based off the photos online, my understanding is the photos online are for the renovated part. The room we got was dark, damp, smelt moldy. The bath had hair in it, mold and rusty red marks. The bed had the biggest indents of being slept in that could be seen on entering the room. I spoke to the office about if another room was available, they were quick to offer a full refund on both nights and give us options else where to book. There was another room available there but it was one of the renovated ones. We would have left but unfortunately we couldn't get two nights at the other accommodation. We stayed one night, they refunded one night and we moved to another accommodation. We were in the States on a four week holiday, we stayed at over 12 different accommodations and this was the worst. We are only reviewing this so others do not get caught out with this property.
