RACIST HOTEL STAFF

It was really REALLY bad. If I could give ZERO stars I would. When we got there, the guy checking us in barely said ANYTHING. didn’t explain no room service, didn’t confirm what our days were for our stay, didn’t mention office hours. Was super rude and I think it’s cause I’m not white because the next family that came in, he helped them carry their bag inside their room, was super friendly, and talkative to them while he told my sister and I that he doesn’t help carry stuff into rooms. It doesn’t look like the pictures, false advertisement, NOT A CLOSE WALK TO THE BEACH WEBSITE SAYS 5 MIN WHEN REALLY ITS 22. No parking at night cause the parking lot is small. Bed was lumpy. No trash cans in bathroom, no soap, no towels, NO BLANKETS. disgusting garbage horrible. If I was the type to stay in my hotel room all day I would have been PISSED. never again, not recommending to people, and I will be calling someone higher up to complain about the racism that I as a brown woman dealt with.

Worst place I’ve stayed in years. People were partying all night, the room was grimey, you have to wait until 4pm to check in, the office doesn’t open until noon. It was over all just a terrible experience. Also, the desk guy said he needed my debt card so he could put it on file in case there was any damage to the room. After he handed me my card back I noticed that he charged $100 to it. The next day I asked when they were going to put the money back on my card and he said a couple days. Kinda weird

Brad was really nice and helpful, but the room itself was hot and dirty and like literal spiders on the ceiling. alsooooo a woman literally pounded on our door at 1 in the morning saying we were making noise, she woke us up from sleeping so i think she was crazy i don’t know. i think brad maybe came out and dealt with it but definitely not a great experience. you get what you pay for but damn

The property was definitely outdated, but the area and staff make up for it. I’d recommend bringing your own/extra towels as we only had 2 beach towels in the room for showering/personal use. I’d also recommend bringing an extension cord as there was literally only 1 outlet in the entire room. Parking was free and easy, and I liked that we also had close access to the freeway, beach, and restaurants.
