Perfect stay for my work trip.

While visiting Cal Poly, we stayed at the Sands Inn, and we enjoyed it tremendously. The hotel was very nicely kept, the location is terrific for access to both the university and the San Luis Obispo downtown, and the staff was very responsive. The breakfast was also very nice. We would absolutely stay here again.

Comfortable beds, large bathroom, extra blankets. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker as well as brewed coffee in the front office. It worked really well for us. It's not fancy but good. My only gripes are that the closet was hard to get to and while there was a smallish table, there was no desk. Overall, very nice and affordable

It was a prefect experience, I can't find any fault during our stay. The location is easy to get to yet very quiet. Parking is plentiful even at late night. Walkable distance to some of the very nice restaurants around. The free breakfast is lovely, better than even some of the hotel we stayed. The room is beautiful, there's honestly nothing we don't like during our stay and we enjoyed this inn more than what we expected.
