This hotel had the strangest combination of positive and odd elements I have experienced. The basics were ok- bed comfortable, plumbing worked though the shower gave hot water for a limited time. The bathroom was huge, there was a center room with a table the size of a card table and two chairs, and a large sleeping area with two queen size beds. We had requested a room with one bed. There were many cupboards closed with padlocks and a big floor safe presumably for the family that owns the hotel. There were just 2 drawers for clothes, a bar to hang clothes, no suitcase stand other than the dresser top, good counter space in the bathroom, an old tv with just 5 channels- 4 movie channels plus Foro news, so so internet, a floor fan, a floor heater, fancy antique bird shaped sink and bathtub handles, a huge tiled tub with no stopper, two bath towels no bath mat, drinking water daily, soap and shampoo.
Our door was mostly glass with the doorknob 10 inches from the bottom of the door. Curtains on the room door had to be pulled from either side, difficult to close completely while in the room. While not in the room it was impossible so we put our stuff out of sight. The floor length bathroom curtain covered about half of the window. If "closed" it hung over the toilet paper. We were on the 2nd floor and other rooms were some distance, but to bathe one had to pull the tub curtain one way and the window curtain the other just so to remain out of sight.
