This is a no-frills hotel brand. With that in mind, the rooms were clean and recently remodeled. Hot breakfast was available (eggs & sausage) in addition to the traditional continental breakfast items (waffles, breads, yogurt, cereal). Coffee & hot tea are available all day. It was a quick & easy drive to Cedar Point. Despite the inexpensive price, I felt this was a safe location. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because there weren’t any shear curtains or blinds on the windows, just the blackout drapes. Being that there are only 2 levels, I felt with the curtains open people could see inside. With them closed, the room was dark.

Room was outdated, and had an odor to it. Hard bed, no plush blankets as mentioned, pillows were flat. Pool was nice size but water was cloudy, needed ventilation in the pool area

Was overall a terrible experience, check in was at 3 and they had us sitting waiting for out room until 3:45 when other people came in and got there rooms right away. Had an ant infestation the first night and instead of changing out rooms they had a staff member come spray ant spray which made the room smell terrible and like chemicals. The pool was absolutely filthy couldnt see your hand 6 inches away from your face and the bottom of it was covered in dirt and filth looks like it was not cleaned in a few months. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY

Property was disgusting
First when we went to check in there were three people at the front desk and only one was checking everybody and I had to wait an extremely long time for the process. Then we get to our room to find that the microwave was dirty, so was the bathtub. Inside the closet look to be a dirty sheet and the previous guest socks. It was late and we had been at cedar point all day. So I didn't complain I just tried to get some sleep but the cable was awful and was cutting in and out every few seconds. So I ended up watching my phone which was super inconvenient and my son had to watch his tablet and fall asleep with headphones on I will never return again.

The hotel itself was clean and nice. Went to the pool to hang out for a little bit. Walked in the door at the pool and it was oppressively hot in the room. Pool was disgusting. Could not see the bottom of the pool at the shallow end at all. Chemicals in the pool were way to strong. Needless to say we didnt spend anytime at the pool. Need better maintenance for the pool for sure.

I'm not sure how this hotel is rated so high. The room smelled horrible! I think it was due to the moisture in the room because our washcloths and towels never dried after we used them. The hallways and common areas smelled perfectly fine but the room was gross. Went out and got lysol spray to try to help rid the smell. Breakfast was the same everyday! Eggs and sausages. They had a waffle maker but that was pretty much it. The pool water was soo cloudy we were afraid to get in. We stayed 3 days and only saw one person actually get in the pool and there were plenty of families staying there so they probably opted out of getting in as well. Truly disappointed in our stay.

Our air conditioning did not work properly and our room was so humid that our bed linens were physically wet. We had to go to the front desk and ask for new linens overnight to remake our own beds. They promised us a dehumidifier but it never arrived.

Pool was green and so cloudy you couldn't see past the 2nd step to get in, yet was told at the front desk that it was usable and clean. Room had a horrible musty smell and if you wanted the door to shut you needed to pull/push with your entire body weight. 2 double beds with 8 pillows. 4 of those pillows felt like you were sleeping on a bag of golf balls, 2 of them seemed to have some kind of crinkly plastic coating that made noise every time you moved. The heavy blankets between a top & bottom sheet were both stained yellow like they belonged to a smoker. Other than these issues the hotel was clean and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful (besides telling me the pool was safe to use - but she was still nice about it).
