The hotel was nice, the cafe was great. However I was satisfied with the linens for the bedding,( a sheet, uncovered duvet, and another sheet) the pillows were feathered and flat. Also the air conditioning did not work. We had a two day stay and every time we walked into the room it was hotter than the hallways despite having the temp set to 65•. I am 8 months pregnant and could not sleep due to those two issues.

Myself and about 25 other family members flew in from Chicago for or a wedding and we booked rooms with double beds to accommodate all of us and when we got there, they would only offer a king size and said sorry we are all out of the other rooms, Did not offer to accommodate us did not offer any help until I finally lost my cool and of course at that point one of the other members stepped in and accommodated one extra room for us. Probably my last trip to California nothing like Chicago what a fake state with a bunch of fake ass people

Falling below reasonable expectations
Overall not that impressed with my experience at this hotel. Things that may feel insignificant on their own add up to an underwhelming stay for the price. The pool/outdoor area was not open (under renovation) — this should’ve been disclosed at time of booking. Time outdoors at the hotel is an important consideration for me when deciding where to stay. I don’t like spending hours at a time cooped up inside an AC space with no options to get fresh air. When I asked about other available outdoor spaces at the hotel, the staff gestured towards the front entrance as if to say, you can hang out right outside the front entrance. There were no hypoallergenic options for pillows available. Customer service to me goes a long way towards me accepting the unexpected lack of amenities. With the exception of one staff who went out of their way to get silverware for me from the kitchen when all they had were plastic spoons for use, the rest of the staff seemed satisfied to provide the bare minimum response. When I asked for a slight extension for check out the staff seemed to be bothered to engage in the conversation but finally agreed to giving 30m after I reassured them I wasn’t a messy guest. I was also told because i booked through a third party site I wouldn’t be able to get Hilton Honors points for my stay. This seems strange in this day and age of numerous online booking options.
