Unfriendly male receptionist. Ripped off parking fee. Lady receptionist stated free parking for disabled but we got charged 4 days parking fee which we only stayed for 3 nights. Not recommended. Poor and dishonest staffs service.

Stay was fine, check in was pleasant. The checkout however was a different story. Steve/Steven was first busy with hotel staff, then continued to ignore me. Another guest checked out and was helped promptly. When he finally deemed me worthy of his time took forever, verified my last name as if typing my room number wouldn’t show my information. Very rude and he’s the reason I wouldn’t return.

Checking in took 30 minutes due to being short-staffed and inexperienced team. They couldn't seem to do the most simplest tasks without having to discuss things with one another while the guests waited. Manager was nowhere in sight. Finally checked in but room had foul stench. Towels were not fully dried and damp. Wifi didn't work with our information so we had to call IT service but that didn't work either. Pool area had cockroaches. The tipping point was when the front checked a different guest to our room an hour after we checked in. They walked into our room while we were at the pool and saw our open luggages in the room. Good thing they were nice people and left the room untouched. We met them as they came out of our room. Our keys were no longer able to open the room so they gave their keys to us. Just an all round disaster of an experience. Went to the front to request a full refund because there were too many bad signs. We decided to leave. While there, half a dozen people were there crowding the desk saying they had problems with their keys etc. Good thing they honored our complaint and gave us the refund. And to top it off, they said we can leave the parking lot without any payment, so we took their word, but the parking gate didn't open. Had to ask valet to help us and explained the situation again. We left there flabbergasted at what we just went through.

Had to switch rooms 3 times the first night. Had a reservation for a balcony they gave me something like a small standing area. Next room ac want working and the room was hot and muggy. Then the elevators work when they want to. Parking gate works when it wants which makes it inconvient to get out. Paid parking ain’t worth it.

Nightmare in Santa Ana.
This place looks like it hasn't been remodeled. The room smells of mildew, inefficient AC. Poor front desk staff. Poor fitness center, inoperable, elevators, stained carpeting, etc.
