These are literally walls made of paper!!!! You can hear everything your neighbor is saying and doing!!! Room felt dirty… bathroom door didn’t lock… toilet didn’t flush!!! You literally had to remove the toilet top and pull on chain!!! Gross conditions!!! Refrigerator handle was so dirty all it had to do was get wiped which tells me it was NOT DONE!!! They could have at least given us a new roll of toilet paper which they didn’t!! You guys need to put a little extra effort into these things- they are importan!!! I did appreciate the grab and go breakfast… and guy at the reception lobby was super nice and friendly…

Very basic with small problems
The check was pretty easy. The room are not really modern. The biggest surprise was the internet charge, after paying for a day of service the system bogged down after a few hours of use. Upon my check out I notified the front desk clerk about the problem. She was really nice, but she said she was aware of the issue. She stated that they upgraded the system and been having problems and received previous complaints. You would think they would at least refund you a portion of the cost or the entire cost for a known issues with the system. I am glad I didn't stay multiple nights as I was intending to do. The easy access to freeways and quiet area was a plus.

Yes, hotels in Santa Barbara are expensive. But >$300 for this place was absurd. Dingy, pretty run-down, loud (sounds like the person next door is IN your room), poor excuse even for a continental breakfast...we def won't stay here again.

Over priced because of UCSB move in weekend. A hotel that should cost $150 I was charged $388. Smoke smell throughout. No carpet. Hard bed. Hair in bath/shower. Smoke smell coming from rooms and through AC/Heat. Felt like 1980 with inflated prices. Already cancelled my next booking. Will not stay there again.

To be honest I will not stay again at this property. Unpleasant smell, dirty carpet and surface. Noise from the fridge and AC, which made it hard to sleep and a death roach in the bathroom was descasting.

Dirty, very uncomfortable bed and pillows, toilet wouldn’t flush, long dark hairs in the “clean” folded towels, grease stains on the “welcome paper”, sticky floors, shower was leaky, bathroom sink had stains and sprayed water all over when turned on.

There was nothing to like about this property. When we went in, no one at reception. After 10 minutes Diego comes. He said they are short of staff. We get room and we notice no kitchen supply. Refrigerator is rusty on left, right outside. No shampoo. When we call, they bring kitchen stuff, but no coffee maker. One small tube of dish soap. We asked for roll away bed which they brought. It was worse bed I had never seen a thin mattress about 1" thickness. You could feel all the spring coils. I will never stay in Extended Stay America.
