We stayed here for two nights over the Fourth of July weekend while visiting family at Lake Cachuma camp site, with our baby and son. The location was convenient not too far from the lake and made it easy for us to go back and forth during our stay. For a holiday weekend in the Solvang area, where most places are quite expensive, this Motel 6 was a very affordable option. The stay was nice overall and worked well for what we needed.

Cheap but for a reason

You get what you pay for! Cheaaaap but there’s a reason. Smelly room and bedding, no cleaning service in between days- have to go to the front to get more towels, etc. No little mini shampoo or conditioner, none of the usual amenities. Musty smell in the room, noisy neighbors up all night.

No light working above the desk, although there was a light fixture there. Bathroom floor looked filthy; bed was lumpy.

Staff was ok ✅ ,services good no problems, but at night there’s not lighting at the parking lot , the parking lot and my room faces directly to the street , another inconvenient is there is not a fence and gate to control people, two times someone was trying to open my door by 3 am , I not consider a sefe condition for rooms
