Great potential for an awesome stay
Good stay, clean, nice room & bathroom. Really great potential, but fell short for our stay. They advertised a poolside bar that was supposed to be open til 9pm while pool open til 10pm, it was closed. Would have been great if they were open, menu looked good. They have 2 propane firepits in a picnic area near the pool, but they are small and were taken over for hours by same people. They have a nice addition not advertised, a lounge where teens could play the old school Street Fighter (for free!) Game, air hockey or foosball.

I enjoyed my stay at The Sandman Hotel. The facilities were renovated with great taste. Check-in and out were easy. I would definitely stay there again!

Lots of people coming and going at all hours of the night. As a female traveler, I didn’t feel very safe staying at the pool as there were homeless right behind the gate.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was satisfactory, however, it appeared that vacuuming had been overlooked. Upon returning to our room 20 minutes prior to the designated check-out time, we discovered that the sheets had been removed from the bed we had slept in, while the other queen bed still had its sheets intact. It seems that the housekeeping staff does not remove all the sheets if the bed appears unused. While the overall stay was pleasant, we will not be returning due to these inconsistencies.

I've stayed here several times and I've alway been happy. The rooms are very clean, staff is friendly and efficient, it's quiet, and it has a pool and jacuzzi. All good.

The go-to motel if you travel with pets
This model is in a good location. Its easy to get around but its not too busy with traffic. We enjoy the fact that they allow pets. The room was clean and comfortable size. It also was not too noisy. We really enjoyed our stay. We will go back.

The bar and pool saved this place. Rock hard beds, outdated lamps with burned out bulbs. Was in Santa Rosa for a charity bike ride and due to poor sleep caused by hard bed I was unable to participate. Spend a couple of extra bucks on a different hotel

The overall stay was pretty disappointing. According to images on the website and Expedia, breakfast was expected. Not only was there no breakfast but the coffee available was terrible and watered down. The gym area wasn't open until late morning. Coffee wasn't available until past 8:30am. Staff seemed very indifferent. Overall it was a pretty disappointing experience.
