I had contacted the hotel with special request of a wheelchair accessible room, as well as early as possible check-in , we arrived at 6 am, because we were checking out at 6pm to go to the airport, basically having day use of the room only. The night staff where very pleasent and accommodating, letting us know there should be rooms available about 8am, and to enjoy wifi & coffee in the resteraunt, however, come 8 am and a different staff came on, attitude changed drastically, telling us very matter-of-factly, check-in was at 2:00pm and that there were no rooms,
available, when we had been sitting and seeing persons checking out, when others coming were being given thier keys, they were told a room did come available at 11 am our travel companions were charged almost double for the "early"check in and being so annoyed they paid, we had waited around for so long we decided that we would not pay the extra and just continue to wait.. when we were given our room it was so small my husband has to fold my chair an prop it in a corner because we could barely get by the ends of the beds to access the bathroom, given other cercumstances, l may have asked for a bigger room, but we just needed to lay down to rest after our night long long bus trip and prior to our over night trip to Canada... Which is why we booked a hotel in the first place...
