It was faded elegance lovely big rooms with high ceilings Lots of dust in the ceiling fan in the bathroom and the hair dryer didn’t sound too well can’t really say the beds were comfy overall for one night it was good for the price also breakfast was good

Love it, fussy moaners won't.
Usual stay been here loads of times and it don't deserve the poor reviews, last Friday before Christmas for £42,👍 +ve. Very central location, very cheap and always clean, the building is fantastic, staff always friendly. -ve. Room this time was OK but headboard not attached to wall and banged everytime we moved. Tried a shower in morning. Had to empty at least 2 Merseyside reservoirs before warm water came through.

The place has been remodernised, it was a lovely calm relaxing place to be inside and the main lounge is amazing very granular.

Faded Glory summs up this hotel. The ensuite bathrooms are in need of major refurbishment but the building is fabulous. Plus all the staff were very helpful.

The interior of the hotel is amazing. It is like stepping back in time with the grand dining hall & it definitely looks like it was a fine place in its day ! The hotel is very convenient to bus stops and for all of the shopping areas & while the rooms are basic, it is a great location for a city break in Liverpool. I would stay here again

Don't book this hotel. Why not: 1. My room was boiling hot (controls for heating not working). 2. The bed is uncomfortable - with some hairs in the bedding. Nice..... 3. Toilet didn't flush 4. Bathroom floor is grim - disgusting!! 5. Carpet in room seems to have been there since 1990 6. Room looked extremely tired Management seems to have given up caring for their business. AVOID THIS HOTEL at all cost!!!

bed was old and falling apart, bath and shower had loads of paint on them celing was leaking, carpet in room had some pitted in chewing gum, the entire hotel smelt of damp and rotten wood didnt smell fresh at all

Decent hotel I reckon!
Just stayed for work in the area. Overall great value at 42 pounds per 1 night stay plus 7.50 parking. (December) Comfortable room and bed and decent hot shower. Quite quiet for a busy outside city life, so got good solid sleep. 24 hour staff and night porters are good too, so you can pop in and out for your smokes.
