When we arrived, we were greeted to drunk people being taken out by security. Shortly after, we checked into the theme room I had booked, only to find it very dirty. There were crumbs and dirt in the bed, there was food left over in the fridge, the floors were dirty, bathroom was dirty. To say the least, I was very disappointed. After bringing these concerns to the front desk, they were nice about it and switched our room to a pool side room. The room we were transferred to was clean, but then came the noise. There were people running through the halls and slamming their room doors as hard as they could (or at least that’s how it sounded from our room) until 2:30 in the morning. I booked a room at a different hotel while being kept awake all night and promptly checked my family out the next morning. (We were supposed to stay all weekend) lastly, while we were checking out at 10 in the morning we got one last parting gift of yet another drunk couple fighting over a bottle of booze in the lobby. I won’t ever take my family back to that hotel, and that saddens me as I have had found childhood memories going to that hotel.

Extremely dirty and disappointing
There was mold in the sink and shower/tub. It was really dirty and it was obvious that it was not cleaned properly. It was extremely loud and there was no quiet time enforced, which is extremely frustrating when travelling with two young children. The pool was dated and one of the main pools was closed. The only family friendly thing about the hotel was the themed room (which was dirty) and the pool (which was partially closed). Myself and my two boys were almost run over by the snow plow which decided to go backwards without looking or notice, i advised the front desk of this when checking in and they didn’t even offer as much as an apology.

The restaurant is very good, the water park was perfect. It is a very large older building and can have a walk to your room but it is very clean and lots of staff. It’s on the edge of a bit of a “busy” area of town but lots of security. Would definitely stay there again
