What the expedia website does not tell you is that there was a $75 dollar pet fee per night for our 10 pound dog as well as a $33 parking fee per night. Very poor to not having disclosed that! If I had known, I could have actually stayed in a nice place for an additional $100 per night!

Lobby and front desk area constantly smelled of marijuana/cannibus smoking…this was inside as if someone was smoking it in the immediate lobby front desk area. Cleanliness of room was not good…run down conditions. An absolute waste of our money.

emergency stay for 5 nights
hurricane helene stay forced the drive north to savannah. Grateful to find a place to stay for me and my mother, who is 90. The hotel is in disrepair. The rooms. Breakfast every day.

Great location. Beds were super comfortable. Noisy on New Year’s Eve, but quiet the next night. Carpet was very dirty. My feet were brown and had hair stuck to them, so had to wear socks or put towels down to keep them clean. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

I was unexpectedly billed an extra $33.00 a day during my 3-night stay with no explanation. The room itself was very pleasant, but the outside of the building was showing its age.

The Best Western Savannah Historic District was located at a great spot and service was really good. Everyone was really friendly. We docked a star because our room didn't quite match the pictures in terms of how modern and fresh the picture looked. Also because, while breakfast was included, and while we did go down to breakfast about an hour before it was set to finish, there were really only hash browns, waffles, and sliced bread left to eat.
