Good value for the price

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Typical HI breakfast included. Nothing spectacular but it gets some food in you before hitting the road. Its off the beaten path and gives you a quiet nights rest. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The property was conveniently located to where we wanted to be but what I didn’t care for was that our room didn’t smell very clean and even though it was a non-smoking property, someone was smoking weed and you could smell it in the hallway. Another issue was that our refrigerator didn’t work even after we had the manager come take a look at it and the hotel wasn’t able to give us a discount on our stay because booked through a third party… Expedia was very accommodating in giving us a fair credit to make up for the inconvenience! I wouldn’t recommend or stay at this property again, though!

It was had a very uninviting look upon arrival. It was understaffed so we had to wait a bit to check in. It had a bad Oder and everything seems unclean, unkempt, and out of date. The rooms were not as pictured and were in fact worse. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was extremely tiny especially for a twin bed room. The tv was VERY dated with limited ability to actually watch something. It was way overpriced for the quality, the amount, and the overall experience. The owner/main woman was nice but definitely seemed pretty annoyed we wanted to leave early and kept asking us why even though we already explained twice and seemed as if she did everything she could to force us to stay there for 2 days before letting us get a refund. We ended up going to a different hotel for one day/night which we much preferred and had wished we’d stay they’re originally. I would not recommend this place. In fact I’d recommend it to be a place to avoid.
