Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay! The price was excellent and the staff could not be nicer. Easily walk to the trolly and to the center of town. Great little place with a lot of personality!

Unique location with everything we needed for our short visit. Moon pies and RC cola made my son quite happy as well as the Krispy Kream. Beds were comfortable and parking was simple.

Spiffed up retro motel in a great location just a short walk from all the action of downtown. Friendly staff, free morning doughnuts, and Moon Pies on your pillow. What more do you need?

The room that we used had a door that was difficult to open, the air conditioning fan would not shut off so that the floor was very moist and slippery, the bathroom fan was loud and would not shut off either. The neon sign in front, which is such a vintage wonder was missing several lights, which makes the place look uncured for.

For the money, and if you’re into mid-century kitsch, this place is fun. Windows do not stop traffic noise. Room was musty. No openable windows for fresh air. Confusing signs that were not consistent (I.e.parking was variously $155, $15.99 or $20). Fun space. Comfortable bed. Cute furniture. Doughnuts to die for.

Such a retro fun stay! Definitely a piece of nostalgia. We had such fun and enjoyed our stay. It’s an older preserved property. So if you’re expecting luxury don’t come. If you want to time hop to a nice clean motor lodge, this is for you! It brought back my childhood and I can’t wait to come back.

We loved the retro theme, the moonpies and rc colas were the coolest! And make sure you have donuts and coffee in the morning, they were delicious!!
