If you are a light sleeper, make sure to request a room on the 3rd floor. I forgot to request that this year and I ended up on the first floor. I didn’t sleep at all the first night. Noisy people in the the room above me, could hear the person snoring next door, doors to nearby rooms slamming, and could even hear people talking in the parking lot right outside my room. I stopped by the front desk to see if there were any rooms open upstairs and she was able to move me. I wish I had gotten her name to give her credit here because she was super understanding and helpful. Overall, great hotel, good location, easy parking, top-notch breakfast.

OVERPRICED, I'm going somewhere else next time
This hotel is overpriced for an older HI facility that features nothing extraordinary. $160 ($180/night w/taxes etc) to stay overnight in Sedalia is insane--not State Fair, even. The mini fridge was annoyingly noisy overnight, so much so that I turned it nearly off. Light in the bathrooms is insufficient, and a "night light" function there would not be out of line.

While checking in a woman outside was reporting that she had been attacked. Police were outside when we went down to swim police were speaking with her. When we left for dinner there was a high speed pursuit. Keys were not working great, carpet was dirty and room smelled musty. There were “hairs” in the bathroom and the refrigerator was so loud we actually unplugged it to sleep. Woke up to staff vacuuming the hall. Breakfast had VERY limited gluten-free items. Yogurts were out of date and when staff what options there were, her response was pancakes (they did not say gluten free) when I sat down my coffee had a fly in it.

Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. The ac in the room fid not work correctly. We had it set at 64 and it was about 78 in the room. Hot tub only had 2 jets working. Black mold on the ceiling in the hottub and pool area. Got woke up by staff atound 745ish to clean our room and check out was not till 11. Tried talking with staff to get issue resolved and they would not do nothing. Will not be staying there again. Even tried to get hotels.com to help resilve the issue and they would not resolve it correctly. They took the hotels word over the guest who has photos
