Great location close to main street in Hongdae!
Great location in Hongdae! Super close to all of the metro areas and close to the main road! John was super friendly and very nice to accommodate and help with a better room!

ROOM HAS NO LOCK ON THE DOOR!!
I decided not to stay (even though I had prepaid and was told it couldn't be refunded) when I discovered there was no lock on the door. I was told that I could use a small lockable cabinet for 'anything important', but there was no means of locking the door to my 'private' bedroom/bathroom. Also, I ended up spending half an hour outside the property in the cold as I'd arrived later than anticipated (but still within the check-in hours stipulated in the description). The message on the (locked) front door instructed me to telephone to get access info - but I had no phone service in Korea. I eventually managed to call on my friend's phone and got instructions to get inside, only to discover the lack of a lock. Otherwise the room appeared reasonably clean and comfortable, but it was really cold and I was told there was no way to adjust the temperature within the room. The underfloor heating apparently should have been on, and the person I spoke with didn't understand why it wasn't.

Good location but not value for money
The location is good as it is near to hongik university station. The hostel is a two storey house with rooms and 2 shared bathrooms. Our room is rather small with a bunk bed and the room is without windows (which we did not realise when the booking is done) thus the ventilation is not really good. No basic amenities at all such as hair dryer, water purifier (we need to boil the water). These are provided in other hostels we stayed in Korea. Our booking was specifically mentioned that "room will be guaranteed for late arrival" and "The front desk is open daily from 10:30 AM - 10:30 PM" in the Expedia itinerary but we got phone call from owner saying that check in after 10pm is not acceptable and they cannot do anything about it and eventually only reluctantly allow us to self check in. Overall, you may opt for other accommodation with private bathrooms and supplied with basic amenities if you are looking for flexibility.

◎レイトチェックインを快く受け入れてくれた ◎空港からアクセスの良い弘大にあり、夜に着いても安心して向かえた ○ホステルの入口はキーパッドがあり、好きな時間に出入りできる △部屋は鍵が掛からないので毎日荷物を片付けてキャリーケースを閉める必要がある ✕トイレ洗面台シャワーが同じ空間にあり、トイレがびちょびちょだった。シャワーはあまり綺麗でなかったため使用せず、チムジルバンに行った。

オーナーさんがすごい親切でした。 冷蔵庫の中に入ってあるもののどこからどこまで食べていいのかわかりづらかったです。 駅からも近くお部屋も値段の割に広くてよかったです。

床不太清潔，有不好的氣味，梳化陳舊，樓下廁所有異味！屋主很好，友善細心並幫助我們尋找好去處！
酒店位置很方便，但出入也經過附近發出臭味的公共坑渠！廁所門鑰感覺不安全，如果是祇供女士的房子，我們也許不介意的！另外，我洗刷乾淨的番茄，放在房間，第二天便發霉了！

ホンダに遊びに行くときは必ずここのゲストハウスを利用します！！ オーナーの方の雰囲気も良く親切で、駅からも近く部屋もとても綺麗です！！ ただ、シャワー室の鍵がうまくかからなくて誰か入ってくるんじゃないかと心配になります鍵を取り替えてくれれば完璧かなと！ 立地も良くホンデでとことん夜遊びしたい人には最高なゲストハウスです！
