Great hotel in the heart of Dongdaemun. We had an awesome city view from the 20th floor. Excellent area for shopping. Lots of food options around. Easy to get to by public transport.

Decent hotel, but could be better
Hair found in the Kettle, not enough plug sockets in the room only one near the bed and this was faulty, hair dryer also didn’t work longer than 10 seconds. Shower design was terrible causing a flood on the floor every time it was used. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the location is great to explore the area and for public transport links. Rooms are also very quiet and peaceful didn’t get disturbed by any other guests nearby. It’s a decent hotel but clearly the rooms are run down, old and need of maintenance with these small annoyances making the stay less pleasant than it could be. I would say the hotel does not earn the 4 star it has been rated.

The room we were assigned to was a bit dark and not welcoming…felt old and dark. We brought the room with breakfast and that was another big disappointment..only dark banana was in the fresh fruit area..no cappuccino..the Cherry tomatoes were mostly ripe

Fine for work, not great for a holiday
Generally functional clean stay though would not recommend for couples holiday. We were allocated one of the princess rooms which was decorated much like a child’s bedroom. Breakfast was poor; whilst there are options they were cheaper mass buffet capsules of scrambled eggs, pasta etc. My husband wasn’t feeling well on the morning of our last day so I went to take bring him some banana and juice to our room. This was refused despite my explaining why. Whilst it’s probably not the decision of the individual staff member this rigidity showed a lack of customer service.

The Hotel is only a few minutes walk from underground trains which take you all across Seoul. Massive bed which was very comfy, and there was a 24hour convenience store inside the Hotel. The only negative was the shower wasn’t good.
